Installation and specifications

This lamp does not require fixed installation. Being a table lamp, it simply needs to be placed on the chosen surface and plugged into a standard 220V-240V outlet. Before using it for the first time, check that the cable shows no damage and that the LED light source is correctly seated. No tools or additional fixings are needed.

To keep the ash wood in good condition, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could alter the finish. Do not leave the lamp on unsupervised for extended periods and keep it away from flammable materials. If you notice any abnormality in its operation, disconnect it from the mains before inspecting it.

Design and use

The CATA lamp has a discreet but defined presence. Its ash wood structure with a black finish combines two materials that together create a contemporary aesthetic, without references to any particular style. It is not strictly vintage, industrial, or Nordic, although it could integrate naturally into all of those environments. It is a lamp that adapts to the space without imposing itself.

The body measures 250 mm high, 135 mm long, and 222 mm deep. These are contained dimensions, making it suitable for a bedside table without taking up too much space. It also fits well on a desk where a warm point of light is needed for working or reading at night. In a dining room, placed on a sideboard or console, it can function as ambient light alongside other decorative elements.

The 2200K temperature is one of the most characteristic features of this lamp. That very warm, almost golden tone transforms the perception of the space. A room lit with that light looks different from one illuminated with neutral or cool white. It is the type of light that makes natural materials, such as wood or ceramic, gain depth and texture. If there are ceramic pieces or earthy-toned surfaces in the same space, the golden light of CATA enhances them very naturally.

Being LED, energy consumption is minimal and the light source is already included, so there is no need to look for any compatible bulb. This considerably simplifies setup: take it out of the box, place it, and plug it in.

The lamp includes an integrated 2W SMD LED light source. This type of LED has a long lifespan under normal conditions of use. If it were to fail, consult the technical service before attempting to handle it, as not all SMD modules are designed to be replaced by the end user.

Is the 2200K color temperature suitable for reading or working at a desk?

A temperature of 2200K produces a very warm light, similar to that of a candle. It is perfect for creating a relaxed atmosphere at night on a bedside table or desk, but it is not intended as a primary light source for tasks requiring high visual precision. For extended reading, the ideal approach is to combine it with another more neutral light source.

Does the ash wood body require any periodic maintenance treatment?

It does not require any special treatments. The wood already comes finished in black from the factory. To keep it in good condition, simply clean the surface with a dry cloth and avoid direct moisture or aggressive cleaning products that could alter the finish.
