Overview

The FARO table lamp is a solid option for those looking for functional lighting with a clean, contemporary finish. It is designed to be placed on a table, nightstand, desk, or any flat surface where directed light is needed without taking up too much space. The steel design with a matte black finish integrates well in both modern interiors and environments with a more industrial or Nordic touch.

FARO is a brand with years of experience in interior lighting. Their products combine durable materials with shapes that adapt to different lifestyles, without falling into fleeting trends. This lamp reflects that: it is discreet, well-built, and fulfills its function without complicating the environment.

What makes this lamp useful is its versatility. It works equally well on a living room side table or a work desk, in a bedroom, or next to the bed. It does not impose a style — it adapts to the one that already exists.

Installation and specifications

As a table lamp, it does not require fixed electrical installation. Simply place it on the chosen surface and plug it into a standard outlet. Before turning it on, make sure to install a compatible E14 LED bulb within the indicated maximum wattage, as it is not included in the package. The universal voltage (100V–240V) allows it to be used at any point in the home without additional adapters.

For cleaning, use a dry or slightly damp cloth on the steel surface. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte black finish. Always unplug the lamp before cleaning it or changing the bulb. Do not place objects on the body of the lamp or expose it to excessive humidity.

Design and use

The lamp is made of steel, a material that provides solidity without adding unnecessary weight. At 1.4 kg, it is stable enough on a table or nightstand without being difficult to move if the space is rearranged. The matte black finish does not reflect ambient light, giving the whole a contained and uniform appearance, without distracting glare.

The dimensions — 490 mm in height, 340 mm in length, and 160 mm in depth — place it in an intermediate range: it is not a small bedside lamp, but it does not take up the entire surface of a desk either. It fits well on a side table next to the living room sofa, on the nightstand of a bedroom, or on a work table where focused light is needed.

The contemporary design does not respond to any specific trend. It has clean lines, with no ornamentation. This makes it compatible with modern interiors, but also with more sober or functional environments. In a living room with dark or neutral furniture, the lamp integrates without creating forced contrast. On a natural wood or white side table, the matte black body creates a point of visual balance.

For those looking for a lamp that does not compete with the rest of the furniture, this option works well. It has no glass, ceramic, or any decorative finish that would make it the center of attention. The lamp fulfills its role: providing light where it is needed, with a discreet but well-defined presence.

On a nightstand, it provides enough light for reading without disturbing the rest of the room. On a desk, it allows working with good lighting without taking up too much space. In the living room, on a side table or in a corner next to the sofa, it creates a warm light zone that makes the space more welcoming without requiring structural changes.

Compatibility with E14 LED bulbs allows you to choose the color temperature according to use: warm light for rest areas such as the nightstand, more neutral light for the desk or dining room. That flexibility means the same lamp works in different contexts without losing coherence.

The steel body withstands everyday use well. It is not a material that scratches easily or loses its appearance over time with basic care. In that sense, it is a lamp designed to last, not to be replaced every season.

Questions and answers

Does this lamp require a specific type of bulb, or does it accept any E14?

The socket is E14 and accepts LED bulbs in that format. The maximum wattage is 8 W, so the bulb you choose must not exceed that value. The bulb is not included in the package, so it must be purchased separately.

Is the matte black finish resistant to the scuffs of daily use?

The matte black finish on steel is stable with normal use. It can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. It is recommended to avoid sharp objects or aggressive cleaning products that may scratch or wear down the surface over time.

Does the universal voltage mean I can use it with any standard household outlet?

Yes. The lamp operates between 100V and 240V, which covers the standard range of the domestic electrical grid. You do not need adapters or special installation — simply plug it into a conventional outlet.
