Overview

The FARO table lamp is a clear option for those looking for functional light and contemporary design at home. It works well on a work desk, a bedside table, in the dining room, or in any corner of the living room where direct lighting is needed without installing anything on the wall or ceiling.

The body is made of steel with a matte white finish. That combination delivers a clean, understated result that fits many types of interiors: from the most modern to the most simple. The height of 490 mm allows the light to reach the work surface or reading area properly without being visually intrusive.

FARO is a brand with a track record in the lighting industry. Its products combine solid construction with contemporary lines, designed for everyday use in domestic spaces.

Installation and specifications

This table lamp is placed directly on the surface without the need for tools or ceiling or wall fixtures. Simply rest it on a side table, desk, or any stable piece of furniture, connect the cable to the power supply, and it is ready to use. Before connecting it, check that the voltage of your installation is compatible with the indicated range. The bulb is not included, so you will need to purchase an E14 LED bulb with a maximum power of 8 W separately.

To clean the lamp, always disconnect it from the power supply first. The matte white steel finish cleans well with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the surface. Do not handle the bulb while the light is on or if the body is still warm. Keep the cable away from areas where it could be stepped on or caught.

Design and use

The FARO table lamp is built in steel, a material that provides stability and durability without adding excessive weight. At 1.4 kg, it stays firmly on any flat surface without the need for additional anchoring. The matte white finish softens the overall look and prevents the metal from feeling cold or too industrial. It is the kind of modern lamp that does not draw attention to itself, but does improve the general appearance of the space where it is placed.

Its dimensions, 490 mm high and 340 mm long, make it practical in various contexts. On a bedside table, it provides just the right amount of light for reading without disturbing whoever is next to you. On the dining room table, it can serve as a secondary light source that complements the general lighting. In the living room, placed on a shelf or on an auxiliary piece of furniture, it adds presence without taking up too much space.

The use of LED technology through the E14 socket keeps consumption low and the bulb's lifespan long. Compatibility with a wide voltage range, from 100 V to 240 V, allows it to be used without adapters in different countries, which is useful if you ever change residence or use it in a different space.

In terms of style, the contemporary design of this lamp fits well with Nordic, minimalist, or more eclectic mixed interiors. Matte white is one of those colours that clashes with practically nothing: natural wood tables, lacquered surfaces, dark or light textiles. Those looking for a gold or ceramic lamp for a warmer atmosphere will need to consider other options, but for those who prefer something clean and discreet, this finish serves its purpose well.

It can also be used on an auxiliary bedside table in the bedroom, in the hallway, or even in a home workspace. In that context, the neck or structure of the lamp directs the light in a way that does not dazzle directly, making it easier to concentrate for hours without visual fatigue. It has no integrated charging port or touch functions, but its operation is simple and reliable, which is what most people look for in a lamp for daily use.

The design of this table lamp does not need many details to work well. That is precisely what makes it versatile: in a space with little furniture it stands out more, and in one with many decorative elements it blends in without creating visual noise. The light it produces, combined with the tone of the finish, creates a calm and balanced atmosphere, suitable for different times of day.
