The ANOUK lamp by FARO is a table luminaire designed to illuminate the desk, both at home and in the office. Installation and specifications

Preparation and placement. Being a table lamp, it requires no tools or anchors. Simply place it on the bedside table, desk or any stable surface and connect it to the power supply. Before plugging it in, check that the cable is not bent or pressed under the base.

Use and care. To clean the surface of the body and the diffuser, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the ABS finish or the PMMA diffuser. Do not cover the lamp with fabrics or objects that may retain heat. If you are going to be away for an extended period, unplug it from the mains.

Design and use

The ANOUK lamp has a compact construction that takes up little space on the desk. With a height of 400 mm and a depth of 350 mm, it fits comfortably on a work desk without interfering with the monitor or other elements. The body is made of ABS, a material resistant to impacts and easy to keep clean. The translucent PMMA diffuser distributes light evenly, with no excessive bright spots or shadowed areas.

The touch system allows you to control the lamp with a simple touch, without physical buttons that may wear out over time. The colour temperature adjustment ranges from 2700K, which provides a warm light similar to that of a traditional bedside lamp, to 6500K, which reproduces a cool light similar to natural daylight. This allows the lighting to be adapted according to the task: warm light for reading before sleep, cooler light for working or concentrating for hours.

The intensity is also adjustable, which is useful when working in front of a screen or in conditions of low ambient light. You can lower the lighting level so that it is not bothersome at night, or raise it when you need to clearly see the details of a document.

The integrated USB port allows you to charge devices directly from the lamp, without occupying wall sockets. It is practical on a desk where there are already many cables: the phone or tablet charges from the lamp's own base. Inductive charging adds another layer of convenience: if your device is compatible, you can rest it on the base and it charges without cables.

This modern lamp fits well in work rooms, studies, bedrooms and reading spaces. On a bedside table, the ability to choose between warm and cool light makes it an ally for the different phases of the day. It can also work in a dining room if used as supplementary lighting on a sideboard or side table. The gloss white colour integrates it easily into bright environments, although it also contrasts well with dark wood or concrete surfaces.

For those who work from home, the combination of dimmable LED light, charging port and wireless charging reduces clutter on the desk. In a modern office, this type of table luminaire allows you to personalise the work environment without depending on the general lighting of the space. In a bedroom, on the bedside table, it fulfils the function of a reading lamp with the additional advantage of charging the mobile device during the night without visible cables on the surface.

The gloss white finish withstands everyday use well and is easy to clean. The stable 1.2 kg base prevents the lamp from being easily knocked over if brushed against in passing. The cable, compatible with universal voltage between 100V and 240V, allows it to be used without adapters in different countries.

Questions and answers

Does the ANOUK lamp include the LED light source in the box?

No, the light source is not included. The lamp is designed to work with an SMD LED type source of up to 8W, which must be purchased separately.

Does the inductive charging system work with any device?

Inductive charging is compatible with devices that have the integrated wireless charging function according to the Qi standard. If your device does not have that function, you can use the USB port to charge it with a cable in the usual way.

Can the brightness and colour temperature be adjusted independently?

Yes. The touch system allows you to separately adjust the light intensity and the colour temperature between 2700K and 6500K, without one adjustment affecting the other.
