Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. This lamp is fixed to the ceiling by recessing. Before installing it, verify that the opening in the false ceiling has the correct dimensions to accommodate the body. The low recessing depth, of only 30 mm in height, allows it to be placed in ceilings with little space available behind the panel. It is recommended that the electrical installation be carried out by a qualified professional. Check that the installation voltage is compatible: 220V-240V.

Use and maintenance. To clean the surface of the body, a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Do not use abrasive products or solvents on the aluminum or on the PC diffuser. The honeycomb filter is removable, making it easy to clean separately. Do not handle the lamp with the power connected. Although the IP44 protection allows its use in humid environments, it is not designed for direct contact with water.

Design and use

The KIVI body is made of aluminum with a white finish. It is a material that does not deform under the heat generated by the LED and maintains a clean appearance over time. What does it mean exactly that it has a low recessing depth?

The recessing depth is the depth the lamp needs inside the ceiling to be installed. In KIVI it is 30 mm, which allows it to be placed in false ceilings with very little space available between the panel and the upper structure.

Is the honeycomb filter a fixed part of the lamp or can it be removed?

The honeycomb filter is removable. It can be taken out for cleaning or to modify the light dispersion angle according to the needs of the space where the lamp is installed.
