Does the transparent glass diffuser concentrate the light a great deal or does it distribute it?

Being transparent and designed as a pinhole fixture, this light directs the light in a focused beam downwards. It does not scatter illumination in all directions like an opaline diffuser. It is an option designed for accent lighting or for creating specific focal points of light on the ceiling.

Is it possible to use a halogen GU10 bulb instead of an LED?

The GU10 socket accepts both LED and halogen bulbs, provided they do not exceed the indicated maximum wattage of 10 W. However, LED bulbs are more efficient and generate less heat, which is more suitable for a compact recessed fixture such as this one.
