The dimmable driver is included with the lamp. However, to be able to adjust the intensity, a LED-compatible dimmer switch must be installed in the circuit. That component is not included and must be purchased separately.

What ceiling depth is needed to install this recessed light?

The KIVI has a low recessing depth, making it suitable for ceilings with little available depth, such as plasterboard or low-height false ceilings. The body measures 30 mm in height, but it is advisable to verify the exact available space before making the opening.

Does IP44 protection allow it to be installed directly in the shower or above the bathtub?

IP44 protection covers water splashes from any direction, but it is not suitable for installations directly above the shower stream or in the immersion zone of the bathtub. It is appropriate for nearby humid areas, such as the bathroom ceiling at a certain distance from the water.
