Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, make sure the ceiling light point is switched off and that the cable can support the weight of the assembly. It is fixed directly to the ceiling using the included anchor. The suspension cable allows the height to be adjusted according to the space. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, it is most advisable to seek the help of an electrician.

The ceramic shade can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The use of abrasive products or submerging it in water is not recommended. The steel structure can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Avoid installing this luminaire in areas with direct moisture, such as inside a shower or outdoors.

Design and use

The VENICE lamp has a simple construction that makes it easy to understand why it works in so many contexts. The oval cobalt blue ceramic shade is the central element. It was handmade in a workshop in Barcelona, which means each piece has small variations inherent to the artisanal process. That detail is what sets it apart from an industrially produced lamp.

The body combines steel and ceramic. The steel provides structure and the black finish contrasts well with the bright blue of the oval shade. Together they create a piece that has visual weight without being excessive. The oval shape of the shade allows light to be directed in a concentrated manner downward, making it useful both as the main lighting in small spaces and as ambient light in larger rooms.

In a dining room, a hanging lamp like VENICE above the table visually organizes the space. The cable height, of up to 2230 mm in total, allows room to adjust the position according to the ceiling and the table. In a bedroom it works as a light point beside the bed, replacing bedside table lamps and freeing up surface space. It also fits well in a living room where you want to create a reading area or highlight a specific corner.

In a kitchen, installed above an island or countertop, it helps define the work area without the need to add more ceiling lights. The ceramic withstands everyday use and regular cleaning. In a hallway, a single hanging piece can be enough to illuminate the space and give it personality.

The bulb is not included, but the luminaire is compatible with E27 LED bulbs of up to 15W. A bulb of this type provides sufficient light for everyday-use spaces. Questions and answers

Is the oval ceramic shade mass-produced or does it vary between units?

The oval shade is handmade in a workshop in Barcelona, so small differences may exist between one piece and another. This is part of the artisanal process and is not considered a defect.

Is it possible to adjust the length of the suspension cable to adapt it to lower ceilings?

Yes. The total height indicated is the maximum available. The cable can be gathered or adjusted during installation to adapt the hanging lamp to the ceiling height of each space.

Is the luminaire compatible with any type of E27 bulb or only with LED?

The lamp holder accepts an E27 socket. The maximum power is 15W, so it is recommended to use an LED bulb of that power or lower for correct and safe operation.

If upon receiving the lamp you detect any defect in the materials or finish, you have 30 days to report it. Each case is handled individually.
