Installation and specifications

Before installing the pendant lamp, check that the ceiling point where it will be fixed is sturdy and properly anchored. The total weight is 1.67 kg, which is not a heavy load, but it is worth verifying that the junction box supports the fixture without any play. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified installer if you have no prior experience. To clean the ceramic shade, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could alter the finish. The black steel body can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Design and use

VENICE was born from the work of Adolfo Abejón, a designer with a sensitivity for creating objects that do not age quickly. The oval silhouette of the shade is one of those elements that work equally well in a contemporary interior as in one with more history. It does not compete with the rest of the space — it complements it.

The glossy blue ceramic has a clear presence during the day, when natural light gives it a vivid and clean tone. At night, with the lamp switched on, the light coming through the lower opening creates a cone of illumination that falls on the table or floor in a concentrated manner. This is not a lamp designed to light an entire room, but to create a deliberate point of light.

The version with a 7-light multiple canopy allows several pendant lamps to be distributed in a single installation. It is a solution that works especially well in long dining rooms, kitchens with a central island, or open-plan living rooms, where a single ceiling light would not be sufficient. Placing seven units at different heights produces a visually ordered yet dynamic result.

In the bedroom, two VENICE lamps on either side of the bed can replace bedside table lamps without taking up surface space. The height can be adjusted via the cable so that they hang at the appropriate level. In the bathroom, if there is sufficient clearance, a single oval unit above the mirror can provide a warm light that completely transforms the atmosphere of the space.

The black steel body provides contrast with the glossy blue shade. That combination works on white walls, but also on darker or textured surfaces. In a living room with light wood furniture, the black of the body visually anchors the whole. In a more industrial space, with concrete or exposed brick, the handcrafted ceramic provides a soft counterpoint that balances the hardness of the materials.

The oval shade is also available in black, pink, white, and striped, making it possible to adapt the luminaire to very different color palettes. If at some point you change the room's decoration, another version of VENICE may fit just as well in the new context.

Compatibility with an E27 LED bulb makes it easy to find the right type of light — warmer for the bedroom or dining room, more neutral for the kitchen. The maximum power is 15 W, sufficient for ambient or accent lighting over a specific area.

Does the 7-light version share a single ceiling point or does it require multiple electrical outlets?

The multiple canopy version is installed from a single ceiling point. The seven pendant lamps extend from a shared canopy, so you only need one electrical outlet in the ceiling for the entire installation.

Is the oval ceramic shade the same across all units, or can there be variations between pieces?

Since it is handcrafted in a workshop in Barcelona, each shade may present small differences in finish. These are not defects — they are part of the artisan process and make each piece unique.

Does the pendant lamp cable allow the height of the shade to be adjusted?

Yes, the cable length can be adjusted during installation to adapt it to the ceiling height and the desired position in the room.
