Overview

The FARO five-light pendant lamp is a ceiling luminaire designed for spaces where lighting needs to be functional and at the same time pleasing to the eye. With its opal glass diffuser and matte white structure, it fits well in dining rooms, living rooms, hallways, and common areas of businesses or restaurants. The oval finish of the diffuser distributes light softly, without concentrated bright spots.

What makes this lamp useful is the combination of materials and the ability to position it exactly where needed. Thanks to the included hook accessory, its position on the ceiling can be adjusted without complications. Designed by Nahtrang for FARO, a brand with consolidated experience in interior lighting, this pendant is designed for both residential projects and commercial environments seeking a clean and coherent result.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, check that the ceiling anchor point can support the weight of the assembly. The cable has a generous length that allows the height to be adjusted according to the space. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a certified electrician, as it involves direct connection to the mains. Verify that your installation voltage is compatible with the indicated range before connecting.

To clean the aluminum body, use a dry or slightly damp chamois cloth. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth without abrasive products. Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before handling it or changing the bulbs. Do not use bulbs that exceed the maximum indicated wattage.

Design and use

This five-light pendant lamp has an orderly and balanced visual presence. The matte white aluminum body gives it a clean appearance that does not overwhelm the space. The oval opal glass diffuser filters the light from the LED bulbs and distributes it evenly throughout the space, avoiding harsh reflections or shadowed areas.

Opal glass is a material that works well with light: it softens and expands it without losing luminosity. In a large room such as a dining room or living room, this effect translates into a warm atmosphere without sharp contrasts. The oval shape of the diffuser adds a design detail that breaks the monotony of more standard formats.

The lamp accepts E27 LED bulbs, although they are not included in the package. This allows the color temperature to be chosen according to the intended use. For a bedroom or living room, a warm light around 2700 K usually works well. In work spaces or kitchens, a more neutral temperature may be more appropriate.

One of the most practical features of this ceiling luminaire is the hook accessory. It allows the pendant lamp to be moved without needing to modify the electrical installation each time. This is especially useful in restoration projects or in commercial premises where the layout of the space may change over time.

The cable has a length of 5000 mm, which provides room for installations in high ceilings or for dropping the pendant to the desired height above a table, a kitchen island, or a counter. In a bathroom with good clearance height, it can also work as a main light source if the installation complies with regulations for wet areas.

In terms of style, this modern FARO lamp fits with contemporary interiors, but also with spaces of more neutral lines where a light source is sought that does not compete with the rest of the furniture. The matte white integrates easily into white ceilings or light colors, and does not clash in spaces with more distinctly designed finishes.

For hospitality or retail projects, the versatility of the hook and the possibility of combining several units make this lamp a practical option. Five lights per unit already offer broad coverage, and if several pendants are installed in the same room, the result is uniform and coherent without the need for additional resources.

The total weight of the assembly is 4.8 kg, which requires verifying the resistance of the ceiling anchor point before proceeding. With a correct installation, the luminaire remains firm and stable without any apparent movement.

Questions and answers

Does the hook accessory allow the lamp to be repositioned without making a new electrical installation?

Yes. The included hook allows the position of the pendant lamp to be changed within the same ceiling point without modifying the wiring. It is useful when the space is reorganized or the furniture layout is changed.

Does the oval opal glass diffuser withstand the heat generated by LED bulbs well?

Opal glass is a material suitable for use in interior luminaires with LED sources. E27 LED bulbs generate very little heat compared to halogen ones, so the diffuser works without problems within the indicated power limits.

Does the 100V–240V voltage mean that this ceiling lamp is compatible with the standard electrical installation in Spain?

Yes. The domestic electrical installation in Spain operates at 230V, within the range supported by this lamp. You do not need any additional adapter or transformer to connect it.
