Overview

The FARO pendant lamp is an option designed for those looking to refresh the ceiling of a living room, dining room, or any space where central lighting sets the atmosphere. This version features a multiple canopy with 5 lights, allowing light to be distributed over a wide area without the need to install several separate lighting points.

The body is made of steel lacquered in matte black, with details in an aged gold finish. This combination delivers a balanced result: visual presence without feeling overdone. The oval structure of the ensemble works well in both interiors with clean lines and spaces with more classic elements.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in interior lighting. Their products are found in residential projects and in homes where manufacturing quality and a design that does not go out of style quickly are sought.

Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. This lamp is fixed directly to the ceiling using the included canopy. Before starting assembly, make sure the electrical circuit is switched off at the main breaker. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a certified electrician, especially when dealing with a pendant lamp with multiple lamp holders. Verify that the ceiling support is sturdy and suitable for holding the entire assembly. The suspension cable allows the height to be adjusted according to the space.

Use and maintenance. To clean the lamp, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte black finish or the aged gold tone of the body. Do not exceed the maximum wattage indicated per lamp holder. Always switch off the lamp before handling the bulbs or carrying out any cleaning.

Design and use

The pendant lamp from this FARO collection is built in steel, a material that offers structural stability and a surface that accepts paint and metallic finishes well. Matte black covers the main body, while aged gold appears as a detail that adds warmth without reducing the overall sobriety. The combination of both tones works well in spaces where a focal point on the ceiling is desired without it being too eye-catching.

The oval design of the canopy and the 5-arm structure allow each lamp holder to have its own angle, generating a wider light distribution than a pendant lamp with a single point. This makes it particularly useful above dining tables, where a large surface needs to be illuminated evenly. In a medium-sized living room it also fits well, as it covers the center of the space without the need to add secondary light points.

In the kitchen, this pendant lamp can be placed above the island or work area, providing sufficient light for everyday tasks. Its profile of 300 mm in length and 300 mm in depth makes it manageable even in spaces that are not very large. The total height of 2030 mm, including the cable, can be adjusted to suit ceilings of different heights.

For the bedroom, the aged gold finish together with the matte black creates an atmosphere that does not feel cold. A lamp with these characteristics can function as the central element of the room, complementing dark wood headboards, textiles in neutral tones, or furniture with metallic details.

As for the type of light, the E27 socket is compatible with most LED bulbs available on the market. As the light source is not included, the user can choose the color temperature that best suits each space: warm light for more intimate atmospheres, or neutral light if functionality is the priority. The maximum power of 15 W per point allows the use of efficient LED bulbs that do not generate excessive heat.

The lamp operates in a voltage range of 100V to 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical installation in Spain and in most countries. No additional adapters or transformers are required.

In terms of style, this pendant lamp works well with interiors that combine metallic elements and dark finishes. It can also be integrated into environments with vintage or industrial touches, where the contrast between black and aged gold reinforces the personality of the space. For those renovating a bathroom with a more elaborate design, a lamp with these characteristics can be used if the space has the appropriate electrical rating for it.

The weight of the assembly is very low, which makes transport and installation easier. The steel structure ensures that the shape is maintained over time without deformation or loss of finish under normal interior use conditions.

Questions and answers

Does the multiple 5-light canopy allow each arm to be oriented independently?

The canopy is designed with a fixed structure of 5 lamp holders. The orientation of each arm is not independently adjustable, as the oval arrangement of the ensemble is part of the original design of the lamp.

What type of E27 bulb is compatible with this pendant lamp?

The E27 socket is the most common standard on the market. LED bulbs are compatible, although the light source is not included. It is recommended not to exceed 15 W per lamp holder in order to respect the indicated maximum power.

Does the suspension cable allow the total height of 2030 mm to be reduced?

Yes, the suspension cable can be gathered or adjusted during installation to adapt the height of the lamp to the ceiling of the space where it is placed. It is recommended that this adjustment be carried out by the installer at the time of assembly.
