Installation and specifications

For installation, an electrical point on the ceiling with a rose or recessed box is required. Given the weight of the lamp, it is recommended to verify that the ceiling support is solid before fixing the assembly. The suspension cable has a total length of up to 1500 mm, allowing the height to be adjusted according to the space. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, as it involves a direct connection to the 220V–240V mains supply.

To clean the metal body, a dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth and no abrasive products. Do not use solvents or aggressive chemical products on any of the surfaces. Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the lamp from the power supply.

Design and use

The LE VITA collection was born with a simple idea: to create a pendant lamp that has presence without feeling overloaded. The result is an oval luminaire with fine lines, where the steel body acts as an almost invisible structure holding the opal glass diffuser. That combination of materials is what gives it character: the metal with a bright gold finish adds a warm and contemporary touch, while the glass softens the light and distributes it evenly.

The oval shape of the assembly makes the lamp work very well over elongated surfaces. Above a rectangular dining table, for example, it covers the entire area without leaving the ends in shadow. In a large living room, it can be used as a focal point above a coffee table or in a reading corner where direct but pleasant light is needed. The 2700K light tone is warm, close to traditional incandescent light, which favours relaxed and welcoming atmospheres.

This ceiling lamp also fits well in an open kitchen integrated with the dining room. In that type of space, lighting has to work on two levels at the same time: practical for working and pleasant for dining. The integrated 14 W LED fulfils that function without excessive consumption. Does the oval opal glass diffuser protect against direct LED glare?
