FARO is a Spanish company with decades of experience in lighting, recognized for combining good design with quality materials in home products.

Installation and specifications

For installation, an existing ceiling light point is required. The lamp is fixed using a 5-point multiple canopy, which allows the weight to be distributed evenly and the position to be adjusted with greater precision. The cable has a length of 5000 mm, which can be gathered according to the desired height. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially when working with a multiple canopy. Before any handling, make sure to cut the electrical supply from the distribution panel.

For maintenance, simply clean the oval shade and the metal structure with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid the use of abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte black finish of the body. The E27 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately, respecting the indicated maximum power of 15 W.

Design and use

The KOMBO lamp has a clear geometry free of unnecessary ornamentation. The oval shade in beige metal covers the light source uniformly and projects light downward softly, without creating harsh shadow areas. The matte finish of the black cylindrical body absorbs ambient light and causes the structure to recede into the background, allowing the oval shape of the shade to be the focal element.

It is a pendant luminaire that works well in dining rooms where the table needs focused lighting. Being a pendant, the cable height can be adjusted so that it sits at exactly the right distance above the surface. In a living room, it provides a defined light point without visually overloading the space. The 40 cm diameter scale is sufficient to illuminate a specific area without being excessive in standard-sized rooms.

Questions and answers

Does the KOMBO lamp include the E27 LED bulbs needed for operation?

No. The light source is not included. You need to purchase separately one or more bulbs with an E27 LED socket, respecting a maximum power of 15 W per light point.

Can the 5000 mm cable be adjusted to standard ceiling heights?

Yes. The cable has a generous length that allows the height of the pendant lamp to be adapted to different ceiling heights. The excess is gathered inside the canopy during installation.

Does the 5-point multiple canopy require any special preparation on the ceiling?

The ceiling must have a firm anchor point that can support the weight of the lamp, which is 1.67 kg. If the existing light point is not prepared for a multiple canopy, it may be necessary to reinforce the anchor before installation.
