Overview

ART by FARO is a ceiling pendant lamp designed for interiors where detail matters. Its compact structure and old gold finish make it a piece that does not go unnoticed, without taking up too much space. It is a valid option for those looking for a ceiling lamp with its own personality, compatible with E27 LED bulbs of up to 15 W.

It works well in spaces such as the living room, bedroom or dining room, where a pendant lamp of a contained format can set the atmosphere without visually overwhelming. It also fits in the kitchen or a hallway where you want to add a light point with character.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in lighting. Its products combine quality materials with functional design, intended to integrate naturally into the home.

Installation and specifications

To install this ceiling lamp, it is recommended to have an existing light point on the ceiling with a rose or junction box. As this is a suspension luminaire, it is important to verify that the cable has the appropriate length for the height of the room. Installation must be carried out by a person with basic electrical knowledge. Before any intervention, cut the electricity supply from the main panel.

The E27 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately. Make sure the bulb wattage does not exceed the 15 W indicated by the manufacturer.

For maintenance, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the old gold finish on the steel. Do not handle the lamp with the power connected.

Design and use

The ART lamp by FARO is a ceiling pendant luminaire with clean lines and a cylindrical format. Its diameter of 55 mm makes it particularly discreet, with a presence that does not overwhelm. The total length of the assembly, including the suspension cable, reaches 1590 mm, which allows the hanging height to be adjusted according to the space where it is installed.

The body is made of steel with an old gold finish, a warm tone that evokes the classic without feeling overdone. This type of finish pairs well with environments that mix the modern with more traditional references. A pendant lamp with this finish can be the element that ties together different materials present in the same room: light wood, dark iron or vintage-looking surfaces.

In the living room, a lamp of this type works especially well above a coffee table or in a reading corner. It does not need exclusive prominence: it can be combined with other ambient lights to create layers of illumination. In the dining room, placed above the table, it generates a warm focal point that defines the space without enclosing it.

In the bedroom, its reduced scale allows it to be installed in areas where a larger lamp would be excessive. It can be used as the main light point in small rooms, or as a complement alongside other more diffuse lights. The kitchen is another environment where this pendant lamp fits easily, especially over islands or work areas where a specific light point is needed.

Compatibility with an E27 LED bulb allows for the choice of colour temperature that best suits each space. A warm light will accentuate the golden tone of the finish on the metal structure, while a more neutral light will provide an interesting contrast. In any case, the result is a modern lamp that does not give up a certain visual warmth.

Its weight of 0,43 kg makes it easy to handle during installation. The design of the piece fits standard ceilings without requiring special fixings beyond the usual light point. It is a ceiling lamp that does not complicate the installation process or require prior renovation of the space.

As for decorative compatibility, the old gold finish pairs well with neutral tones on walls and floors: whites, soft greys, beige. It can also be integrated into interiors with an industrial or more Nordic style, as long as the other elements complement the warm metallic tone. A room with low lighting and natural materials is a good context for this type of luminaire.

The bathroom is another space where a pendant lamp can change the perception of the atmosphere. In this case, it is advisable to check local regulations on electrical installation in wet areas before proceeding.

Questions and answers

Is the ART lamp holder compatible with any E27 bulb on the market?

It is compatible with E27 cap bulbs, which is the most common standard. The maximum accepted wattage is 15 W, so it is recommended to use LED bulbs within that range. The bulb is not included with the product.

Can the old gold finish on the steel body deteriorate over time?

The old gold finish on steel is durable if properly cared for. It is recommended to clean with a dry cloth and avoid aggressive chemical products. Frequent direct contact with moisture may affect the surface in the long term.

What is the total length of the pendant lamp once installed?

The total height of the assembly is 1590 mm from the fixing point on the ceiling. This is an important figure for calculating the distance between the lamp and the floor, especially in rooms with low ceilings.
