Overview

The ART pendant lamp holder by FARO is a ceiling lamp designed for interiors that seek a clean and contemporary finish. The multiple canopy version with 5 lights allows light to be distributed over a wide area from a single ceiling anchor point. The result is a neat installation, with no loose cables or visible structures that break the aesthetic of the space.

Its black steel finish gives it a defined character without feeling overcrowded. It fits well in a living room, a dining room with a large table, or any room where a light source with visual presence is desired. The oval silhouette of the assembly, with the five arms extended, provides balance without taking up too much visual space on the ceiling.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Its products combine quality materials with designs that work in real domestic contexts, without relying on passing trends.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, check that the ceiling light point is properly enabled and has wiring suitable for the indicated voltage. The 5-light multiple canopy requires a ceiling with sufficient capacity to support the weight of the assembly. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially in ceilings with materials that require specific anchors. Make sure to cut the power before making any connections.

To clean the steel body, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the black finish. Do not handle the lamp with the power connected. Periodically check that the bulbs are properly secured in their E27 sockets.

Design and use

The ART pendant lamp is constructed in steel with a matte black finish that remains uniform throughout the structure. The steel gives it solidity without adding excessive weight to the assembly, which makes installation on standard ceilings easier. The total height of 1590 mm allows the distance from the ceiling to the desired level to be adjusted, which is useful in spaces with high ceilings where a shorter lamp would get lost.

The 5-light multiple canopy is the central element of the design. From a single ceiling anchor point, five arms extend, each with its own E27 socket for an LED bulb. This allows a larger surface to be lit evenly, without the need to install several independent light points. The oval arrangement of the assembly creates a recognizable shape that works as a decorative element even when the lamp is off.

In a dining room, this pendant lamp becomes the visual centerpiece of the table. The five light points distribute illumination so that no shadowed areas remain around the diners. In a living room with a sofa and coffee table, the effect is similar: a warm, evenly spread light that does not require adding auxiliary lamps to compensate for dark corners. The lamp also works well in an open-plan kitchen, where the ceiling is usually unobstructed and there is space to take advantage of the full height of the pendant.

For a master bedroom, the central ceiling installation with this oval lamp provides general lighting that can be complemented with bedside light. The black finish contrasts well with white walls or light-toned ones, and also accompanies natural wood surfaces or darker finishes without creating visual conflict. In long hallways, the linear design suggested by the oval shape of the canopy can be repeated with another unit to create continuity.

The E27 socket is the most widespread standard in domestic lighting, which allows freedom to choose the bulb that best suits each environment. A warm-toned amber bulb reinforces the welcoming character of the space; a neutral light gives a more functional result, suitable for kitchens or work areas. Compatibility with LED allows consumption to remain low with all five lights on at the same time.

The ART design fits with industrial-style interiors, where black steel and geometric shapes are common. It also coexists well with more Nordic environments, where the combination of black with light wood and white walls is frequent. In spaces with vintage touches or elements such as exposed iron or brick, the lamp integrates without forcing. The design is not overcrowded, but it does not go unnoticed either. It is a lamp that defines the space without monopolizing it.

Questions and answers

Does the 5-light multiple canopy anchor at a single point on the ceiling or does it require several fixing points?

The assembly anchors at a single ceiling point. From that central point the five arms of the canopy extend, so you only need one enabled installation point.

What type of bulb does each of the five sockets on this lamp accept?

Each socket is of the E27 type and accepts LED bulbs with a maximum power of 15 W per light point. The bulbs are not included and must be purchased separately.

Is the total height of 1590 mm fixed or can the cable of the pendant lamp be adjusted?

The indicated height corresponds to the maximum length of the assembly. In most cases it is possible to gather part of the cable during installation to adapt the height to the ceiling of each space.
