Design and use

The structure of this pendant lamp is made of steel with a matt white finish. It is a finish that does not draw attention to itself, but lets the shade and the light take centre stage. The matt white does not reflect the surroundings, so the lamp maintains a clean appearance regardless of how the room is lit at any given moment.

The fabric shade surrounding the diffuser adds a texture that visually softens the overall piece. It is not an oval lamp in the strict sense, but its circular shape and balanced volume give it a calm presence above any surface. The light that passes through the fabric and the opal polycarbonate diffuser reaches the space already filtered, without sharp edges, which makes the atmosphere feel more welcoming.

Questions and answers

Is the LED module in this pendant lamp replaceable or is it permanently integrated?

The SMD LED light source is integrated into the luminaire and cannot be replaced individually. It is included from the factory and is designed to operate throughout the entire useful life of the product without the need for replacement.

Does the fabric shade affect the amount of light that reaches the ceiling and walls?

Yes. The combination of the fabric shade and the opal polycarbonate diffuser distributes the light mainly downwards and laterally, reducing the amount that reaches the ceiling. This concentrates the illumination in the area of use and creates a more intimate atmosphere.

Is it possible to adjust the cable height to adapt the lamp to different ceiling heights?

The lamp has a cable of sufficient length to adjust the hanging height. The total height of the assembly is 1455 mm, but the cable can be gathered in the ceiling rose to reduce the distance between the luminaire and the anchor point.
