Installation and specifications

Before installing this lamp, check that the ceiling light point has sufficient capacity to support the weight of the assembly. Since this is a 2.5 kg pendant luminaire, it is advisable to fix the hook or bracket directly to the ceiling structure, not just to the cladding. The suspension cable allows the height to be adjusted according to the floor-to-ceiling distance that best suits each room. Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified professional, with the power switched off at the main panel.

The papyrus shade does not accept cleaning with damp cloths or chemical products. To keep it in good condition, simply use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove accumulated dust. The steel body can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and dried immediately. Do not use the lamp with bulbs exceeding 15 W, as excessive heat could affect the diffuser material.

Design and use

The SAIGON lamp has a diameter of 700 mm, making it a piece with a real presence in the space. It does not go unnoticed, but it does not overwhelm the environment either. Questions and answers

Is the papyrus diffuser of the SAIGON lamp resistant to bathroom humidity?

Installing this lamp in the bathroom or in areas with high humidity is not recommended. Papyrus is a natural material sensitive to moisture, and prolonged exposure could deteriorate the shade. For a bathroom, it is preferable to look for luminaires with glass diffusers or other moisture-resistant materials.

Can the SAIGON lamp be installed in ceilings with a standard height of 2.5 meters?

The total height of the luminaire is 1875 mm, including the suspension cable. In ceilings of 2.5 meters, the bottom of the shade would be relatively close to the floor. It is possible to adjust the cable length to raise the pendant lamp and leave a comfortable clearance. If your room ceiling is lower than 2.5 meters, it is worth considering other options.

What type of LED bulb is compatible with the SAIGON lamp?

The lamp uses an E27 socket, the most common on the market. It is compatible with any LED bulb with that socket, provided it does not exceed the maximum 15 W of power indicated by the manufacturer. The bulb is not included and must be purchased separately.
