Overview

The FARO pendant lamp is a simple solution for those looking to update the lighting in a space without complications. It is installed on the ceiling and hangs suspended from a cable that allows you to adjust the height as needed. The result is focused, well-placed light with a clear visual presence.

This lamp works well in a dining room, where the lighting above the table sets the atmosphere for the entire space. It also fits in a living room or bedroom where a characterful light source is desired. The steel body in an antique gold finish and the matte black color create a combination that pairs with contemporary-style interiors without feeling forced.

FARO is a brand with years of experience in interior lighting. Their products are designed for real domestic use, with materials that stand the test of time and a design that does not depend on passing trends.

Installation and specifications

Before installing this pendant lamp, check that the ceiling light point is properly secured and capable of supporting the weight of the assembly. The included cable allows a total height of up to 2250 mm, so it is worth measuring the space from the ceiling down to the level where you want the lamp to hang. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Make sure the installation is compatible with the indicated voltage, which supports between 100V and 240V.

To clean the lamp, use a dry or slightly damp cloth on the steel body. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish. Do not handle the bulb while the lamp is on or immediately after turning it off. Remember that the E27 LED light source is not included and must be purchased separately before using the lamp.

Design and use

The FARO pendant lamp has a body made of steel with an antique gold finish, which contrasts with the matte black of the rest of the structure. This color combination is not flashy, but it does have presence. In a space with light-colored walls or dark furniture, the lamp works as a detail that adds without overwhelming.

The 300 mm diameter makes it a compact piece, suitable for medium-sized spaces. It is not a large-format oversized lamp, but a compact piece that integrates well without visually dominating the room. If you want to illuminate a dining table, a kitchen countertop, or a reading area in a bedroom, this size is well-proportioned.

The total cable length reaches 2250 mm, which provides room to hang it at different heights depending on the ceiling of each space. With high ceilings, it can hang with more slack and create a more striking effect. With standard ceilings, the cable can be shortened to leave it at the height that works best with the furniture and use of the space.

The steel body ensures stability and durability. It is not a material that deforms easily or loses its finish with regular use. The total weight of the lamp is just over one kilogram, making it manageable during installation and not requiring special anchoring in most domestic ceilings.

In terms of use, this pendant lamp fits well in a kitchen where more focused light is wanted over the work area. It also works in a living room where general lighting already exists and a more characterful light source is desired. In a bathroom with a high ceiling and good ventilation, it can be an option if the installation complies with safety regulations for that type of space.

The E27 socket is one of the most common on the market, making it easy to find the right bulb. Being compatible with LED, energy consumption remains low and the light temperature depends on the bulb you choose. Warm light creates a more intimate atmosphere; neutral or cool light is more functional for work areas.

This lamp adapts to contemporary-style interiors, but can also fit into settings with vintage or industrial touches depending on the surrounding materials and colors. The antique gold finish gives it a character that goes beyond the purely modern. In a room with natural wood elements or surfaces in earthy tones, the combination works well. If the space has a more austere feel, the contrast between gold and black adds a point of interest without breaking the overall coherence.

Questions and answers

Does the cable on this pendant lamp allow the installation height to be adjusted?

Yes. The cable has a total length that allows a height of up to 2250 mm from the ceiling. During installation, it can be trimmed or coiled to adapt it to the desired height depending on the space.

Is the E27 socket on this lamp compatible with standard LED bulbs available on the market?

Yes. The E27 socket is one of the most common formats and accepts LED bulbs of that type without adapters. The maximum supported wattage is 15W, so the bulb you choose must be within that limit.

Does the antique gold finish on the steel body require any special care to keep it in good condition?

No special maintenance is required. Simply clean it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. It is advisable to avoid harsh cleaning products that could alter the metal finish over time.
