Design and use

The KOMBO series was born from the Nutcreatives design studio with a clear idea: to create a family of pendant lamps that shared a coherent visual language but could adapt to different sizes and environments. All versions of the series share the matte black cylindrical structure at the top, which acts as a unifying element and gives the whole piece an orderly and recognizable look.

This particular version has an oval shade with a 40 cm diameter made of lacquered metal in terracotta. The oval shape of the shade is not just an aesthetic decision: it defines the direction of the light and concentrates the illumination downward, making it especially useful over work or gathering surfaces. The geometry of the shade is simple, without ornamentation, which makes it easy to fit into different decorating styles without imposing too strong a character.

The terracotta color is a choice that works well with natural materials such as wood or polished concrete surfaces. In a dining room with a wooden table and chairs upholstered in earthy tones, this pendant lamp integrates effortlessly. In a kitchen with white or gray cabinets, the terracotta adds a touch of color that enlivens the space without breaking the balance.
