Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, check that the ceiling point has wiring prepared for a pendant luminaire. The total height of 1190 mm includes the suspension cable, so it is advisable to measure the distance from the ceiling to where you want the diffuser to sit before fixing it. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially in bathrooms, where specific electrical safety regulations apply by zones. Make sure to cut the power before any intervention in the wiring.

For maintenance, clean the glass with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the opal surface of the inner diffuser. The steel body in anthracite finish can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Since the LED light source is included, there is no need to handle the inside of the lamp for normal use.

Design and use

The BRUME lamp by FARO is a ceiling luminaire designed from the outset for humid environments such as the bathroom. Its design is based on a simple idea: two concentric shades, one transparent glass on the outside and one opaque on the inside, working together to distribute light in a balanced way. The result is a pendant luminaire that creates neither harsh shadows nor concentrated bright spots, which is especially useful when lighting a space where visual comfort matters.

The body is made of steel with an anthracite finish, a tone that in recent years has gained ground in modern interiors because it combines well with white and grey as well as light wood or earthy tones. It is not a striking colour, but it does add character. In a bathroom with white or grey tiles, this pendant lamp acts as a clean and measured point of contrast.

The inner opal diffuser is the element that defines how light is perceived in the space. Does the BRUME lamp include the LED light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

The SMD LED light source is included. No additional bulb needs to be purchased to operate the lamp.

Does the inner opaque diffuser affect the intensity of the light emitted by the lamp?

The inner opal diffuser softens and distributes the light, so the resulting illumination is uniform and free from direct bright spots. The maximum power is 3W with a colour temperature of 2700K, producing a warm and comfortable light for general use in bathrooms or similar spaces.

Is it possible to adjust the height at which the pendant diffuser sits?

The total height of the lamp is 1190 mm. In many suspension models it is possible to adjust the length of the cable before installation. It is recommended to consult with the installer before fixing it to the ceiling in order to adjust it to the height of the room.
