Overview

ART is a hanging ceiling lamp designed for indoor spaces where style matters as much as functionality. This version includes a multiple canopy with 3 lights, allowing light to be distributed more widely without the need to install several independent light points. The result is a balanced atmosphere with no uncovered areas.

The lamp stands out for its matte black steel finish, a color that fits well with modern interiors without being intrusive. It works equally well in a living room, dining room, kitchen, or bedroom where a light fixture with its own character is desired. Its oval structure provides a clean silhouette that does not compete with the rest of the space, but rather complements it.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Their products combine careful design with durable materials, designed for everyday home use.

Installation and specifications

Before installing this hanging lamp, make sure the ceiling has a firm anchor point capable of supporting the weight of the assembly. Since it is a multiple canopy with three outlets, it is important to plan the central position carefully so that the lights are balanced within the space. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially for the connections to the ceiling wiring. Make sure to cut the power before starting any work.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the steel body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the black finish. Do not touch the bulb with unprotected hands when it is hot. Periodically check that the ceiling fixing system remains secure.

Design and use

The ART lamp by FARO starts from a simple idea: a hanging structure that does the job well without taking up too much visual space. The body is made of steel with a black finish, a material that offers solidity and resistance over time. It is not a finish that scratches easily or loses color with regular use.

The multiple canopy version with 3 lights is especially practical in large rooms. Instead of concentrating all the light at a single point, the three outlets allow working with different angles or using bulbs pointing in different directions. This is useful in a kitchen where light is needed both over the countertop and over the table, or in a dining room where the lamp must cover the entire table surface without creating uncomfortable shadows.

The oval shape of the assembly provides a proportionate presence. It is not a lamp that goes unnoticed, but it does not monopolize all the attention in the room either. In a living room with straight-lined furniture, the black finish and oval silhouette add a subtle contrast that enriches the overall look. In a more understated bedroom, it works as a design element that defines the style without requiring additional pieces.

The hanging cable allows the height to be adjusted according to the ceiling and the needs of the space. In rooms with high ceilings, the lamp can be lowered to create a more intimate atmosphere. In spaces with standard ceilings, it can be adjusted to a comfortable height without interfering with movement.

This hanging lamp is compatible with E27 LED bulbs, giving the freedom to choose the color temperature according to the desired ambiance. Warm light works well in the bedroom or living room. A more neutral light is better suited to the kitchen or work areas. The power limit is 15 W, sufficient for functional lighting with current LED technology.

The black color of the steel body pairs well with dark woods, exposed concrete, white or grey walls. It also matches iron elements or matte metallic finishes that appear in many industrial or Nordic-style interiors. The bulb is visible in this type of lamp holder, so it is worth choosing one with a shape that adds something to the overall look, such as a globe or vintage filament style.

As for the bathroom, although it is not the most common destination for this type of hanging lamp, it can work in large bathrooms with high ceilings, as long as it is placed away from the wet zone and the safety regulations for such spaces are observed.

Questions and answers

Does the multiple canopy with 3 lights come pre-assembled or does it need to be put together during installation?

The multiple canopy is part of the assembly as received. The final mounting to the ceiling is carried out by the installer, who connects the wiring and adjusts the fixing. It does not require complex prior assembly, but it is recommended that a professional installs it.

Does the lamp include the E27 LED bulbs or do they need to be purchased separately?

Bulbs are not included. The lamp accepts E27 base bulbs of up to 15 W. It is recommended to use LED technology to make the most of the power limit and reduce energy consumption.

Does the hanging cable have a fixed length or can it be shortened to adapt to the ceiling height?

The total height of the assembly is 1590 mm. In many models of this type it is possible to adjust the cable length during installation by gathering the excess inside the canopy. Check the included instructions or consult your installer to confirm the available adjustment range.
