Overview

ARIS is a wall surface light with a minimalist design, intended for those looking for a functional lamp without distracting details. It adapts well to spaces such as the bedroom, dining room, or hallway where clean, warm light is needed without taking up too much visual space. By mounting directly on the wall, it does not interfere with the ceiling and leaves the room with a tidy appearance.

The lamp includes its own integrated LED light source, so there is no need to purchase anything additional to get it up and running. With a color temperature of 2700K, it produces warm lighting that is pleasant in rest areas or transitional spaces. The opal diffuser distributes light evenly, without bright spots or harsh shadows.

FARO is a manufacturer specializing in indoor and outdoor luminaires with decades of experience. Their products combine modern design with durable materials and are intended for standard domestic installations.

Installation and specifications

To install this lamp on the wall, first make sure the electrical circuit is switched off at the main panel. The fixture mounts directly on the wall, so you will need wall plugs and screws suitable for your wall type. It is recommended that installation be carried out by an electrician if you have no experience with electrical connections. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the indicated range, 220V–240V, before connecting.

For maintenance, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the matte white finish of the aluminum or the PC diffuser. Since the LED light source is integrated, it does not require bulb replacement during its normal service life.

Design and use

ARIS is a surface lamp designed to be mounted on the wall. Its body is made of aluminum with a matte white finish, a material that withstands everyday use well and maintains a clean appearance over time. The opal polycarbonate diffuser filters the LED light and distributes it evenly throughout the space, without generating glare or direct dazzle.

The modern design of this surface light makes it compatible with different interior styles: it works equally well in a contemporary design apartment as in a more classic home looking for a touch of visual order. With no hanging elements or ornate shapes, it fits effortlessly alongside other elements in the space. Its neutral style does not compete with the furniture or with other light points that may be present in the same room.

In the bedroom, this lamp provides an enveloping light that works well during evening hours. The 2700K temperature produces a warm tone, similar to traditional incandescent light, which is less stimulating to the nervous system than cool lights. Two units placed symmetrically on either side of the headboard can perfectly replace any hanging bedside lamp, with the advantage of keeping surfaces clear.

In the dining room, this type of home lighting complements a larger central lamp well. Placed on a side wall, it adds depth to the space and softens the shadows typically created by a single overhead light source. It can also work in a kitchen where lighting needs to be reinforced in a specific area without modifying the ceiling.

Wall surface lights like ARIS are a practical alternative when the ceiling does not allow additional light points to be installed, or when better light distribution is desired without resorting to construction work. Being a surface luminaire, the installation is direct and does not require conduits or a false ceiling.

In a hallway or entrance area, a lamp of these characteristics provides continuous, uniform lighting without occupying floor space or surface area. At a kitchen bar or in a work area integrated into the living room, it can act as support lighting alongside more direct or functional lights.

The reduced weight, less than one kilogram, makes installation easy on any type of wall without the need for special anchors. Its matte white finish allows it to blend with light-colored ceilings and walls without drawing unnecessary attention, while the opal diffuser adds a detail of visual quality that is especially appreciated when the lamp is switched on.

ARIS is part of a family of modern-design luminaires aimed at domestic use, where simplicity and functionality go hand in hand. It is a coherent option for those looking for modern lights that require no constant maintenance and that fit into the overall home without the need for additional adjustments.

Questions and answers

Can the ARIS lamp also be installed on the ceiling instead of the wall?

No. ARIS is specifically designed for wall mounting. Its geometry and light distribution angle are intended for that type of installation. For ceiling installations, other surface light models from the same family are available.

Does the polycarbonate diffuser yellow over time or deteriorate from the heat of the LED?

The integrated SMD LED generates very little heat compared to other light sources, which reduces the risk of deterioration of the PC diffuser. With normal use and without exposure to chemical products, the diffuser maintains its opal appearance without visible changes for years.

Is the LED light source replaceable if it fails sooner than expected?

The SMD LED light source is integrated into the luminaire and is not designed to be replaced by the user. In the event of premature failure, we recommend contacting our customer service to assess the situation within the warranty conditions.
