Overview

The LE VITA lamp by FARO is a designer floor lamp that fits well in different areas of the home. It works equally well in a large bedroom or in a dining room with good ceiling height. Its fine-lined structure and opal glass diffuser give it a refined look without feeling overdone. The light it emits is warm and uniform, ideal for creating a calm atmosphere in any room.

The Touch Lamp system allows you to change the light intensity with a simple touch, with no additional buttons or controls. Three light levels are available, giving considerable freedom to adjust the ambiance according to the time of day or activity.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in the interior lighting sector. It works with quality materials and pays attention to detail in every collection. LE VITA is a good example of that balance between careful design and everyday functionality.

Installation and specifications

Installing a floor lamp requires no special tools or electrical installation work. Simply place it on the floor near a standard power outlet and plug in the cable. It is important that the cable is not pulled taut or placed in high-traffic areas where it could cause tripping.

The glass diffuser requires occasional cleaning with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the surface. The steel structure with a bright gold finish can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Do not wet the base or body of the lamp, and always unplug it before cleaning.

Design and use

The LE VITA lamp is part of a collection designed by Nahtrang for FARO. The design stems from a clear idea: a steel structure with very fine lines, topped with an opal glass diffuser that distributes light evenly. There are no superfluous elements. Each part has its function, and the result is a lamp that integrates well into discerning spaces without drawing too much attention.

The bright gold finish on the steel body adds a touch of visual warmth that suits contemporary interiors. It is not a statement piece, but it does not go unnoticed either. That balance is precisely what makes this floor lamp work well in a living room that already has other characterful elements, or in a bedroom where a degree of understated elegance is desired. In this sense, the lamp acts as a complement that adds without overwhelming.

The opal glass diffuser softens the light and prevents direct glare. At 2700K, the emitted light is warm, close to that of a traditional incandescent bulb. It is the type of lighting that promotes visual rest and creates a relaxed atmosphere. This makes it particularly useful in spaces such as the bedroom, the living room, or even a wide hallway where a pleasant ambiance is desired without relying on overhead lighting.

With a height of 1180 mm, the floor lamp is positioned at a level that illuminates well at the height of seated or reclining individuals. It does not take up much floor space, as its base measures 200 x 200 mm. This allows it to be placed beside a sofa, next to an armchair, or in a corner of the dining room without interfering with movement through the room.

The lamp includes an SMD LED light source, so there is no need to purchase anything additional. With just 7W of consumption, it operates efficiently without compromising light quality. The Touch Lamp system integrated into the structure itself allows switching between three intensity levels with a direct touch on the lamp. There is no need to look for a switch on the cable or bend down to find it behind a piece of furniture.

In terms of style, the LE VITA collection pairs well with modern interiors as well as more classic, updated spaces. Glass and gold is a combination that appears in many decorative contexts, from Nordic settings to more Mediterranean approaches. If your kitchen or dining room already features metallic details in other tones, it is worth checking that the bright gold does not create too strong a contrast. In spaces where neutral or warm tones predominate, it fits in without difficulty.

In a long hallway with little natural light, a floor lamp can make a real difference without the need for any construction work. It can also work well in a large bathroom where an additional light source is desired beside the vanity unit or bathtub, always bearing in mind the safety recommendations for damp areas.

Questions and answers

Does the Touch Lamp system work directly on any part of the lamp's structure?

The Touch Lamp system is integrated into the lamp's structure and responds to touch. To activate it or change the intensity level, simply touch the designated area. Consult the included manual to locate the exact activation point on this model.

Does the lamp already include the light source installed, or does it need to be purchased separately?

The SMD LED light source is included. There is no need to purchase any additional bulb before using the lamp. It is ready to plug in and switch on directly out of the box.

Is the bright gold finish on the body resistant to everyday use, or does it require special care?

The bright gold finish on steel is durable under normal indoor use conditions. To keep it in good condition, it is recommended to clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid products containing alcohol or abrasives that could affect the finish over time.
