Design and use

The DOMINICA collection takes its name from a specific aesthetic: the one that took hold in Chicago at the beginning of the twentieth century, when industrial design began entering domestic spaces. That influence is evident in every detail of this floor lamp. There are no unnecessary curves, no superfluous decorative elements. What you see is what supports, what functions, what illuminates.

The body is made of steel with a matte black finish. It is a material that holds up well to daily use and maintains its appearance without much effort. Black is a color that in lighting tends to work as a neutral: it does not draw attention to itself, but it does assert a presence. In a room with light tones, this lamp creates contrast without disrupting the balance. In a living room with dark furniture or natural wood, it blends in naturally.
