Does the opal PMMA diffuser protect the LED source from accidental knocks or impacts?

The PMMA diffuser is more resistant than conventional glass against minor impacts, but it is not designed as active protection. Its main function is to diffuse the light and distribute it evenly. Avoid direct knocks to the lamp so as not to compromise the diffuser or the aluminium body.

Does the 24W LED source come already installed inside the lamp, or does it need to be purchased separately?

The 24W SMD LED light source is included and integrated into the luminaire. It is not necessary to purchase or install any additional components to put it into operation.
