Installation and specifications

Before installing the beacon, check that the electrical connection point in the ground is properly enabled and protected. As this is a surface luminaire with ground fixing, it is recommended that the electrical installation be carried out by a qualified technician. Make sure the wiring reaches the anchor point before securing the lamp, as once installed it may be more difficult to access the base. Always respect the indicated voltage of 220 V – 240 V.

To keep the lamp in good condition, clean the exterior with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents on the aluminum or the PC diffuser. Although the IP65 protection allows contact with water, avoid directing pressurized water jets directly onto the seals or the base. Periodically check that the ground fixing remains firm, especially after periods of heavy rain or frost.

Design and use

The ESPOT 350 has a height of 350 mm and a square base of 160 x 160 mm. It is not a bulky beacon, but it has enough presence to be noticed outdoors, especially when lit. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows light to radiate uniformly around the lamp, without cutoffs or shadowed areas. This makes it especially useful when installed in series along a path or along the edges of a terrace.

The aluminum body is the usual material in outdoor luminaires of a certain quality. It is lightweight, resists corrosion, and maintains its finish well over time. The rust brown tone is discreet and pairs well with materials such as gravel, treated wood, natural stone, or even exposed concrete. It does not draw unnecessary attention during the day, but at night it fulfills its function without being garish.

The integrated SMD LED module offers up to 9 W of power. One of the most useful features of this lamp is that it is available in four color temperatures: 2200 K, 2700 K, 3200 K, and 4000 K. This allows you to choose between a warm light, more reminiscent of a traditional lantern, or a more neutral and functional light, depending on the atmosphere you want to create in the garden or outdoor access area. The warm light at 2200 K produces a result similar to an old-fashioned lantern, with a golden tone that is pleasant in environments with vegetation. The 4000 K option is more technical and appropriate if clear visibility without decorative warmth is desired.

The beacon can be used as the sole source of lighting in small areas, or combined with other lights to create more complete illumination. In a garden, for example, it can be placed near the entrance, beside an access path, or surrounding a planting area. On a terrace, one or two well-positioned beacons can define the space without the need to install overhead lights. It also works well near a swimming pool, as long as the recommended electrical safety zones for that environment are respected.

It does not include a motion sensor or rechargeable system, making it a permanent and stable lighting solution, independent of variable conditions such as battery charge or presence detection. For those looking for a light that is always on during scheduled hours, that is an advantage. Installation requires a mains electrical connection, which involves prior planning of the cable routing, but in return offers continuous and uninterrupted operation.

The weight of just over one kilogram makes it easy to handle during assembly. The LED light source is already included, so there is no need to purchase anything additional to get it up and running.

Yes. It has IP65 certification, which means it is protected against dust and water jets. It can be used outdoors without problems in normal rain conditions.

Is the color temperature of the lamp fixed or can it be chosen at the time of purchase?

Is the LED light source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

It is included. The 9 W SMD LED module is already integrated into the beacon, so no additional bulb needs to be purchased to install and use it.
