Installation and specifications

For installation, simply place the lamp on a flat, level surface. No anchoring or tools are required. Connect the cable to a standard 220V–240V outlet. The COB LED light source is not included — check compatibility before purchasing it separately. The integrated handle makes it easy to move from room to room without effort.

The transparent glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents on the matte black finish of the steel body. Do not touch the light source when it is on or immediately after turning it off. Always unplug the lamp before cleaning it or replacing the LED module.

Design and use

The STAFF lamp stands nearly 185 cm tall, making it a real presence within the space. It does not go unnoticed, but neither does it compete with the furniture. Its vertical silhouette in matte black steel acts as one more element of the living room, dining room, or bedroom — with the same naturalness as a shelf or a tall plant.

The steel body is robust without appearing heavy. The matte black finish does not reflect light intensely, giving it a more understated texture than a mirror shine. In a room with neutral tones — whites, greys, beige — the black of the stand creates a clean counterpoint. In spaces with wood or warm materials, the contrast also works well: the wood adds warmth and the steel visually stabilizes the whole.

The transparent glass diffuser allows the light source to be seen directly, reinforcing the sensation that the light comes from a specific point. At 2700K, that light is warm, similar to that of a classic bulb. In the living room or dining room, that tone avoids the coldness that more neutral or cool LED sources sometimes convey. In the bedroom, it encourages relaxation without producing an excessively flat illumination.

The dimming function is one of the most practical aspects of the design. The same lamp can work as reading light in a corner of the living room, as low ambient lighting during a dinner in the dining room, or as a soft complement in a bedroom before sleep. There is no need to change anything — just adjust the level from the touch switch integrated into the crossing of the mast and the handle.

That design detail — the switch integrated into the structural intersection — is what gives STAFF formal coherence. The handle is not a functional add-on attached to the stand: it is part of the structure, and the switch is born from that union. The result is an object that appears thoroughly considered, with no superfluous elements.

Questions and answers

Does the integrated touch switch also serve to dim the light, or does it only turn the lamp on and off?

The touch switch formed at the intersection between the mast and the handle serves both functions: it turns the lamp on and off, and allows the light intensity to be adjusted according to the needs of the moment.

Is the transparent glass diffuser fixed, or can it be removed to replace the COB LED light source?

The COB LED light source is not included and must be purchased separately. Access to install or replace it depends on the construction of the head — consult the manual included with the product to follow the correct procedure without forcing the glass diffuser.

Can the STAFF floor lamp be moved easily between rooms once installed?

Yes. It does not require any anchoring to the floor or wall. The handle integrated into the mast is designed precisely to make it easy to carry the lamp from one room to another without the need to disassemble anything.
