Overview

The LUNE wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed for those looking for a simple and well-executed lighting solution. Its smooth grey finish gives it a clean look, with no distracting elements. It works well in environments where the design does not need to draw attention, but rather blend in.

This wall light mounts directly on the wall and takes up little space. It is a valid option for both a bedroom and hallway areas. The lamp does not include the bulb, which allows you to choose the type of LED lighting that best suits each space.

FARO is a Spanish brand with years of experience in interior luminaires. Their products combine functionality with careful finishes, designed to last and adapt to different interior styles.

Installation and specifications

For the installation of this wall light, it is recommended to have an electrician if there is no prior experience with electrical work. The fixing goes directly onto the wall surface, so it is necessary to check the type of wall before drilling. It is advisable to take into account the position of existing junction boxes to facilitate the connection. The wall light supports voltages between 100V and 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical installation in Spain and many other countries.

To keep the lamp in good condition, simply clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents that could damage the grey finish of the body should not be used. It is important to disconnect the lamp from the power supply before any cleaning or bulb replacement. The GU10 LED bulb may heat up during use, so it should be allowed to cool before handling.

Design and use

The LUNE wall light is built from aluminium and steel, two materials that offer solidity without adding unnecessary weight. The unit weighs just 0.2 kg, which makes both transport and installation easier. The matte grey finish covers the entire surface of the body uniformly, with no visible seams or superfluous details. It is a lamp that does not try to stand out on its own, but rather accompanies the space.

Its compact dimensions — 100 mm high, 80 mm long and 65 mm deep — mean this wall light fits well in places where available space is limited. In a bathroom, for example, it can be placed on either side of the mirror without being bulky. In a bedroom, it works as a reading or ambient lamp beside the bed. In a living room, it can be integrated into a side wall to complement the main lighting without competing with it.

In hallways, this type of wall light discreetly addresses the need for light without taking up floor or ceiling space. Being fixed directly on the wall, it does not interfere with movement or other decorative elements. In a kitchen, it can be used above a work area or on a side wall to add focused light where needed.

The grey finish is a neutral colour that works well with white walls, earthy tones or even wooden surfaces. It is not a wall light that requires a specific style: it adapts to modern interiors, simpler environments and mixed materials. In a dining room with a wooden table and straight-lined chairs, this wall light fits in effortlessly. In a bathroom with light tiles, the grey of the body provides contrast without being aggressive.

The lamp holder is of the GU10 type, compatible with a wide variety of LED bulbs on the market. This gives some freedom to choose the light level, colour temperature and energy consumption according to the needs of each room. In a bedroom, a warmer light may be preferable; in a kitchen or dining room, a more neutral colour temperature may be more functional.

The lamp is suitable for general indoor use. Its construction in aluminium and steel gives it reasonable durability for everyday use. The body does not accumulate dust easily thanks to its smooth surface, and maintenance is limited to occasional cleaning with a cloth.

For those renovating their home or changing the lighting in a room, this FARO wall light offers a straightforward solution: few complications, solid materials and a modern look that does not age quickly. A wall lamp that delivers on its promise without adding visual noise to the space.
