Installation and specifications

For installation, it is recommended to have an existing wall light point. The wall light is fixed directly to the vertical surface without the need for additional elements. Before starting, make sure to switch off the power at the electrical panel. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, it is preferable to have an electrician carry out the work.

The surface of the lamp is cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid the use of abrasive products or solvents that could damage the textured grey finish. Do not handle the wall light with wet hands or when it is connected to the power supply.

Design and use

The KLEE wall light has a very slim profile: just 30 mm deep. This means it does not protrude from the wall in a conspicuous way, something that is particularly appreciated in small rooms or hallways where space is limited. The lamp rests on a flat base that sits flush against the wall, giving a neat appearance with no distracting elements.

The body is made of steel and melamine with a textured grey finish. It is a neutral tone that does not compete with the rest of the surroundings. It works well in living rooms with light-coloured walls, in bedrooms with cool or warm colour palettes, and also in bathrooms where an additional light point with a certain visual order is desired. The opal PMMA diffuser spreads the light softly, without creating uncomfortable glare or strongly marked shadow areas.

The lamp incorporates two distinct light sources. On one hand, the indirect light projects a circular beam onto the wall, creating an ambient effect that adds warmth to the space. This light is dimmable, allowing the intensity to be adjusted according to the time of day or the intended use of the room. On the other hand, the adjustable reading light allows you to direct the beam exactly where it is needed, without disturbing anyone else in the room.

Questions and answers

Is it possible to install the KLEE wall light in a horizontal position without affecting the functioning of the reading light?

Yes. The wall light is designed to be installed both vertically and horizontally. The adjustable reading light continues to work correctly in both positions, as it can be rotated to point in whichever direction you need.

Are the indirect light and the reading light controlled separately?

The indirect light has its own switch integrated into the structure of the wall light and is also dimmable. The adjustable reading light is independent. You can use one, the other, or both at the same time depending on what you need at any given moment.

Does the opal PMMA diffuser yellow over time due to the heat from the LED?

COB LEDs generate much less heat than traditional light sources, so the risk of the diffuser yellowing is minimal. PMMA is a stable material that maintains its properties with normal domestic use.
