Overview

FRAME is a wall light from the brand FARO, designed for interior lighting. Its steel structure with a matte nickel finish gives it a clean, restrained look without drawing excessive attention. The white shade diffuses light evenly, making it suitable for both private spaces and professional environments.

This wall light is intended primarily for the bedroom, although it fits well in hotel rooms and restoration or business projects. One of its most practical details is the integrated button on the base, which allows you to switch the lamp on and off directly from the wall light, without needing to walk to the wall switch.

FARO is a brand with a well-established track record in the lighting sector. Its products combine functional design with durable materials, designed to adapt to both private homes and interior design projects or commercial spaces.

Installation and specifications

This wall light is mounted directly onto a vertical surface. Before installation, it is advisable to verify that the wall is suitable for supporting the weight of the product and that the electrical wiring is correctly prepared. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. The voltage is compatible with the standard electrical network of most countries, between 100V and 240V.

For maintenance, simply clean the metal structure with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products that may damage the matte nickel finish. The white shade can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Remember to switch off and disconnect the lamp before cleaning it or changing the bulb.

Design and use

FRAME is a wall light with a sober design, where every element serves a purpose. The steel structure with a matte nickel finish provides stability and a discreet visual presence. It is not a wall light that seeks to be the centre of attention, but rather one that complements the other elements in the room well.

The white shade acts as a diffuser that softens the light emitted by the LED bulb. This results in warmer, less direct lighting on the eyes, something that is especially appreciated in spaces where one rests or works for hours. The lamp does not include a bulb, which allows you to choose the light tone that best suits the atmosphere of each room.

Although the bedroom is its natural environment, this wall light can be installed in other spaces in the home. In the bathroom, for example, it works well as complementary lighting next to the mirror. In hallways, it provides focused lighting that guides without overwhelming the space. In the living room or dining room, it can be used as ambient light next to a reading armchair or a console table. The kitchen is also a valid environment if an additional light point is needed next to a work area.

The integrated button on the base of the wall light is a feature that sets FRAME apart from other similar wall lamps. There is no need to get up and walk to the main switch. From the bed or from the armchair, it is possible to control this lamp directly with a simple gesture. In a hotel room, this kind of detail improves the user experience without complicating the installation.

In terms of style, FRAME adapts well to interiors with clean lines. Its matte nickel finish is not eye-catching, but it does have an elegant quality that makes it compatible with modern or more contemporary design environments. It would not look out of place in a Nordic-style room, nor in a decorative project that opts for neutral materials such as steel, concrete or even light wood.

The wall light has compact dimensions — 176 mm high, 190 mm long and 280 mm deep — making it suitable for walls with limited space. It does not take up much room, but its presence is sufficient to create a functional and visually coherent light point. In small bathrooms or narrow hallways, this size is a clear advantage.

Compatibility with voltages between 100V and 240V makes it suitable for use in different countries, which is useful in hospitality projects or in homes with varied electrical installations. The E27 base is a very widespread standard, making it easy to find compatible LED bulbs in any lighting store.

Questions and answers

Does the FRAME wall light include an LED bulb in the box?

No, the bulb is not included. You will need to purchase it separately. The socket is of the E27 type, which is the most common on the market, and the maximum admitted wattage is 15 W. You can choose the light tone you prefer according to the atmosphere you want to create in the room.

What is the integrated button on the base of the wall light for?

The button allows you to switch the lamp on and off directly from the wall light, without needing to operate the wall switch. It is especially useful in the bedroom or in hotel rooms, where the user can easily control the light from the bed.

Does the steel structure with a matte nickel finish require any special care?

The matte nickel finish is durable, but it should be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning products or those containing aggressive chemical components, as they can deteriorate the surface over time. Simple maintenance is sufficient to preserve its appearance.
