Overview

The DANUBIO wall light by FARO is a wall lamp designed specifically for bathroom lighting. Its aluminium body with a chrome finish and opal glass diffuser give it a clean, neat appearance that fits well in both modern bathrooms and more neutral spaces. The integrated LED technology ensures stable, uniform light without the need to replace bulbs.

What sets this wall light apart is the combination of materials: the chrome aluminium resists moisture in bathroom environments well, and the opal glass diffuses light gently, without annoying reflections or shadowed areas. It is a lamp that requires little maintenance and, once installed, simply works.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in interior and exterior lighting. Their products are designed for real domestic installations, where both appearance and durability matter.

Installation and specifications

For installation, a wall power outlet prepared for a surface-mounted luminaire is required. It is recommended to cut the power supply before any mounting work. The wall light is fixed directly to the wall using the included anchors. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, it is preferable to hire an electrician.

The chrome aluminium body can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the finish. The opal glass diffuser can be cleaned with a dry cloth or one slightly dampened with water. Do not wet the luminaire directly or expose it to direct water jets.

Design and use

The DANUBIO wall light has compact dimensions: 395 mm long, 90 mm high and 80 mm deep. This elongated format makes it especially useful as a wall lamp above the bathroom mirror, where light needs to be distributed horizontally to illuminate the face without creating harsh shadows. The 2700K colour temperature produces a warm light, close to traditional incandescent light, which is pleasant for everyday use in bathrooms and hallways.

The opal glass diffuser serves a specific purpose: it softens the LED light source and prevents direct glare. When you turn this lamp on, the light spreads evenly across the entire surface of the diffuser. This distinguishes it from wall lights with transparent glass, where the light point remains visible and can be uncomfortable to look at.

The aluminium body with chrome finish adds solidity without adding excessive weight. The wall light weighs 1.61 kg, which makes mounting easier on most wall types. Chrome is a finish that maintains its appearance well in humid environments, making it suitable for continuous use in bathrooms.

This wall light works well not only in bathrooms, but also in hallways where discreet, continuous lighting along the wall is needed. In a long hallway, several wall lights of the same model placed at regular intervals create balanced lighting without the need to install ceiling luminaires. In bedrooms, it can be used as a side reading lamp, fixed at the appropriate height next to the headboard.

The DANUBIO design also fits in environments such as kitchens or dining rooms where an additional wall light source is sought, without the luminaire drawing too much attention. In a living room with indirect lighting, this wall light can complement the light distribution without disrupting the visual balance of the space. Its chrome finish combines well with taps, frames and other metal elements commonly found in modern bathrooms and rooms.

The SMD LED light source is included and does not require replacement under normal conditions of use. This simplifies both the initial installation and subsequent maintenance. A lamp with an integrated LED saves the search for compatible bulbs and reduces the possibility of errors when replacing them.

The DANUBIO wall light is a lamp designed for those seeking a functional, durable and carefully finished lighting solution, without the need for major interventions or subsequent adjustments.

Questions and answers

Does the DANUBIO lamp include the LED light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

Is the 2700K colour temperature suitable for using the wall light above the bathroom mirror?

Yes. 2700K produces a warm light that is comfortable for daily use in bathrooms. It is a tone that illuminates the face well without creating a cold or clinical feel.
