Overview

The FARO table lamp is a desktop luminaire designed for those looking for something simple but with presence. It fits well on a nightstand, on a desk, or in any corner where ambient light is needed without complications. Its matte white finish and compact silhouette make it compatible with Nordic, contemporary, and minimalist styles in general.

The design puts the focus on the bulb, which is left exposed and becomes the main element of the lamp. There are no shades to filter or diffusers to conceal: the light falls directly from the source, creating a warm and clean effect. The matte white steel structure provides stability without adding visual weight.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in interior and exterior lighting. Their products are characterized by combining functional design criteria with quality materials, built to last in everyday use.

Installation and specifications

To use this lamp, simply place it on a flat, stable surface, connect the cable to a standard power outlet, and fit an E27 LED bulb of up to 15 W. No tools or fixed electrical installation required. Before inserting the bulb, make sure the lamp is disconnected from the power supply.

To clean the steel surface, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the matte white finish. Do not submerge the base in water or place it near sources of direct moisture.

Design and use

The FARO table lamp has a compact and uncluttered structure. The matte white steel body is not a conventional shade, but a functional base that holds the bulb discreetly. The simple form allows the E27 LED bulb to remain visible and take center stage. That design decision is no accident: when the bulb has a decorative filament or an original shape, the visual effect changes completely and the lamp goes from being an accessory to a point of interest in the room.

The compact size — 75 mm in height and 90 mm in length — makes it a convenient option for spaces with little room. On a nightstand it takes up virtually no space, leaving room for a book, a glass of water, or a phone. On a desk it works as a modern auxiliary light that does not interfere with the monitor or the workspace. It can also be placed on a shelf, a dresser, or any surface where you want to add a light source without installing anything on the ceiling.

The matte white finish is neutral and versatile. It does not reflect ambient light in a striking way or create distracting glare. In a bedroom with light tones it blends in effortlessly. In a living room with wooden elements or natural textiles it acts as a clean counterpoint. If the rest of the space has gold or brass details, the white of the lamp can balance the overall look without competing with those finishes.

Compatibility with E27 LED bulbs allows you to customize the color temperature and intensity according to use. For the nightstand, a warm bulb creates a relaxed atmosphere. For the desk, a more neutral temperature can help you work with better visibility. The maximum power of 15 W is sufficient for accent or supplementary lighting.

The universal voltage between 100 V and 240 V means the lamp works with any standard domestic electrical installation, without the need for adapters. The weight of 0.25 kg ensures it will not move easily once placed.

In terms of style, the lamp fits a Nordic aesthetic thanks to the purity of its form and white color. But it also works in more contemporary or eclectic interiors where different references are mixed. The key is that it does not impose a specific style: it adapts to the environment rather than defining it. If the space has ceramic, glass, or even more rustic elements, the table lamp does not create dissonance. It coexists without issue with other materials and finishes.

The design is the work of FARO's creative team, which works with criteria of functionality and restraint. The result is a desktop luminaire that fulfills its function without drawing more attention than necessary, except when a bulb is chosen that wants to stand out.

Questions and answers

Is the E27 bulb included with the lamp?

No. The lamp is sold without a bulb. You need to purchase separately an E27 LED bulb of up to 15 W.

Is the 100 V–240 V voltage compatible with the standard domestic electrical installation in Spain?

Yes. The voltage range perfectly covers the standard mains voltage in Spain (230 V), as well as that of other countries, without the need for any additional adapter.

Is the matte white finish on the steel body resistant to scratches or marks from daily use?

Steel with a matte white finish is a durable material for indoor use. With basic maintenance — wiping with a soft, dry cloth — it retains its appearance well. Avoid sharp objects or abrasive cleaning products that could scratch the surface.
