Overview

The FARO TATAWIN lamp is a table luminaire designed for those looking for a specific light source without sacrificing the style of the space. Its steel structure in satin black and the metallic shade in a grey-blue tone give it a classic character that never goes out of style. It works well as a bedside lamp, on a desk, or in any corner where a focused and controlled light is needed.

The solid base and careful finish make it fit both in modern environments and in interiors with more classic or vintage references. It doesn't take up too much space, is placed where needed, and does its job without drawing more attention than it deserves.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor lighting. Its products combine aesthetic criteria with durable materials, designed for everyday use in the home.

Installation and specifications

To use this lamp you only need a standard power outlet near the point where you are going to place it. Being a table luminaire, it requires no fixed installation or intervention in the ceiling or wall. Simply place it on the chosen surface, connect the cable to the electrical network, and add an E27 LED bulb of up to 15 W, which is not included. Check that the socket of the bulb you choose is E27 before purchasing.

The metallic shade requires no special care. To clean it, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish. Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before cleaning it or changing the bulb. Do not exceed the indicated maximum power of 15 W.

Design and use

The TATAWIN lamp has a discreet but defined presence. The steel structure in satin black gives it visual solidity without feeling heavy, and the metallic shade in grey-blue adds a hint of colour that balances well with neutral tones, off-whites, or natural wood. It is not a piece that tries to stand out at all costs, but it does have its own personality.

The classic and timeless design of this table lamp allows it to adapt to different types of interiors without clashing. In a living room with clean-lined furniture it integrates effortlessly. In a dining room with a more traditional aesthetic it adds a touch of sober elegance. And in a bedroom, placed on the bedside table, it perfectly fulfils its function as a focal light source for reading or creating a relaxed atmosphere at the end of the day.

The height of 575 mm makes it a lamp with a good presence on the table, sufficient for the shade to project light downward effectively without appearing disproportionate. The depth of 454 mm indicates that the shade has a generous size, which contributes to a wider distribution of light within the direct illumination cone.

Being a desk or bedside lamp, it is especially useful in spaces where light needs to be concentrated in a specific area: for working, for reading, for creating a more intimate atmosphere in the living room or bedroom at night. The focal light it generates is precise, preventing glare from spreading throughout the room when not needed.

The grey-blue tone of the shade is one of the details that sets the TATAWIN apart from other more conventional table lamps. It is a colour that functions as a visual neutral but with depth, and that combines well with decorating palettes that include greys, muted blues, dark greens, or materials such as marble, concrete, or wicker. It can also serve as a point of contrast in predominantly warm or golden interiors, where the grey-blue acts as a visual counterbalance.

The combination of a black structure and the shade in that specific tone gives it a feel that can connect with both a modern aesthetic and more classic or even vintage references. It is not a lamp that depends on a specific trend to make sense in the space. That is precisely what a timeless design means: it remains coherent regardless of the changes that may occur in the rest of the interior over time.

The weight of 1.67 kg ensures stability on the surface where it is placed, with no risk of it tipping over easily. Steel as the main material provides durability and a tangible sense of quality when the piece is handled.

Questions and answers

Does the TATAWIN lamp include a bulb or does it need to be purchased separately?

The bulb is not included. You need an E27 LED socket bulb with a maximum power of 15 W. You can easily find it at any lighting or hardware store.

Does the grey-blue metallic shade affect the tone of the light emitted by the lamp?

The shade influences the direction of the light, concentrating it downward as focal light. The tone of the light depends mainly on the LED bulb you choose, not on the colour of the shade.

Is this lamp compatible with both 120V and 240V installations?

Yes, the voltage range is 120V to 240V, so it works in both America and Europe without the need for additional adapters.
