Overview

The FARO TATAWIN lamp is a table lamp with a structure and metal shade in satin black. Its classic and timeless design makes it compatible with many types of interiors: from a living room with sober lines to a bedroom with more traditional décor. It works well on a bedside table, on a desk, or in any corner where a focal, directed light is needed.

The metal shade concentrates the light beam toward a specific point, which is useful for reading, working, or creating an intimate atmosphere without lighting up the entire room. It is not a general ambient lamp, but a complement that adds character and functionality to a space.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a long track record in interior lighting. Their products combine solid materials with forms that do not age with trends.

Installation and specifications

Before placing the lamp, make sure you have an E27 LED bulb with a maximum wattage of 15 W. The lamp does not include a bulb, so it is advisable to have one ready before installation. As a table lamp, it requires no tools or wall mounting: it simply rests on the surface, is plugged into the electrical outlet, and is ready to use. Check that the cable reaches the power outlet comfortably without being pulled taut.

To clean the structure and metal shade, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the satin black finish. Before cleaning, always unplug the lamp from the power supply. Do not touch the bulb with bare hands when it is hot.

Design and use

The TATAWIN lamp has a height of 575 mm and a depth of 454 mm, proportions that give it presence without being bulky. Its steel structure in satin black conveys solidity. It is not a fragile or overly decorative piece: it is designed for everyday use.

The black metal shade is the central element of this lamp. It directs light downward and toward a specific area, making it a good option for those looking for a reading light on the bedside table or a work light on the desk. This type of focal lighting is also useful in a dining room when you want to create a more intimate atmosphere, without relying solely on the general ceiling light.

The combination of steel and satin black fits well with modern-style interiors, but also with more classic spaces. In a living room with dark furniture, the lamp integrates effortlessly. On a light wood side table, it creates a clean contrast that many people find balanced. In a bedroom, placed on the bedside table, it provides a warm, localized light that makes reading easier without disturbing the rest of the room.

The timeless design of TATAWIN prevents the lamp from becoming dated over the years. It does not follow a specific trend, and that is precisely what makes it versatile. It works equally well in a vintage setting as in one with a more industrial or Nordic feel. It does not need to be paired with golden elements or special materials such as ceramic or glass to have visual coherence, although it combines well with all of them if they are already part of the space.

The E27 socket is one of the most common on the market, making it easy to find a suitable LED bulb without any hassle. With a maximum wattage of 15 W and LED technology, energy consumption is low and the resulting light can be warm or neutral depending on the bulb chosen. This flexibility allows the atmosphere to be adapted according to the time of day or the use given to the lamp.

Although it is not a wireless or rechargeable lamp, its standard mains connection makes it reliable and consistent. It does not depend on batteries or charging ports, which simplifies everyday use. For those looking for a table lamp without complications, TATAWIN offers exactly that: plug in, switch on, and done.

The weight of 1.67 kg gives it stability on the surface without the need for any type of anchoring. It does not move easily and does not take up more space than necessary. It is a good option both for a bedside table and for a home desk, and can also work in a dining room as a secondary light source.

Questions and answers

What type of bulb does the TATAWIN lamp require and where can I find it?

The lamp uses a bulb with an E27 socket and a maximum wattage of 15 W in LED format. This type of bulb is very common and can easily be found in any lighting or hardware store. It is not included in the package, so it is advisable to have one ready before installing the lamp.

Does the metal shade of the lamp direct the light in a specific direction?

Yes. The black metal shade is designed to concentrate the light in a focal manner, directing it toward a specific area. This makes it particularly useful for reading or working, as it does not scatter light throughout the room but instead directs it where it is needed.

Does the satin black finish on the body require any special care to stay in good condition?

It does not require complex care. Simply clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth occasionally. It is important to avoid abrasive products or solvents, as they can alter the satin finish of the steel.
