Installation and specifications

No special tools or anchors are needed to install this lamp. Being a table lamp, it simply needs to be placed on a flat surface and plugged into the mains. Make sure the surface it rests on is stable and that the cable comfortably reaches a nearby socket. It does not require fixed installation or any work on the ceiling or wall.

The E27 LED bulb is not included, so it must be purchased separately. It is recommended to use a bulb of up to 15 W so as not to exceed the indicated maximum wattage.

To clean the steel body, a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient. The glass diffuser can be cleaned in the same way, avoiding abrasive products that could damage the opal finish. Before any cleaning, disconnect the lamp from the power supply. Do not submerge any part in water.

Design and use

AMELIA has a form that does not seek to impose itself. Its sinuous, organic lines allow it to integrate easily into very different spaces, from a room with Nordic décor to a living room with more classic furniture. It is not a lamp that takes centre stage in the space, but rather one that accompanies it.

The body is made of steel with a matte white finish. It is a firm material that does not deform over time and maintains its surface finish well. The matte white avoids reflections and gives the whole piece a clean appearance. Placed on a bedside table or on a desk, it does not accumulate visible dirt and is easy to maintain.

The diffuser is made of glass with an opal finish. This combination of materials — ceramic in visual appearance but glass in reality — filters the light before it exits outward. The result is diffused light, with no bright spots or shadow areas. It is exactly the type of lighting that is appreciated in a bedroom at night, when you want to read or simply create a calm atmosphere without the light being bothersome.

Questions and answers

Is the opal glass diffuser resistant or can it break easily?

Opal glass is a denser material than conventional glass, but it remains fragile when subject to direct impacts. Under normal conditions of use on a bedside table or desk, it presents no problems. It is advisable to avoid knocks and to handle it carefully when cleaning.

Can I use any E27 bulb or are there wattage restrictions?

The lamp accepts E27 LED bulbs of up to 15 W. It is not recommended to exceed that maximum wattage. Within that limit, you can choose the colour temperature you prefer, whether warm or neutral light, depending on the atmosphere you want to achieve.

Can the matte white steel body yellow over time?

The matte white finish on steel is stable and does not tend to yellow under normal indoor use conditions. To keep it in good condition, it is sufficient to clean it occasionally with a soft cloth and avoid harsh chemical products.
