Overview

NAVI is a wall lamp made of plaster, designed to blend into the space without drawing too much attention. Its round shape with an inner circle creates an indirect light effect: the illumination reflects between the two spheres and reaches the room softly, without direct glare. It is an option designed for those who seek a modern design that does not compete with the rest of the environment, but rather becomes part of it.

What sets NAVI apart is that, being made of plaster, it can be painted the same color as the wall. This allows the lamp to visually disappear when turned off, and for the light to be the only visible element when it is on. There are no hanging cables or bodies that interrupt the surface.

FARO is a Spanish brand with a track record in interior and exterior lighting. Its products are aimed at those who renovate their home with discernment and look for pieces that work well in the long term.

Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, make sure the wall is dry, clean and free of moisture. The fixing point must be in an area where the support can bear the weight of the plaster body. It is advisable to have the help of an electrician to connect the internal wiring, as the luminaire is integrated directly into the wall. Check that the installation voltage is compatible with the indicated range before energizing.

For maintenance, clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that could damage the plaster or the applied paint. If the luminaire has been painted, it can be repainted when necessary to maintain uniformity with the wall. Do not wet the interior of the body or expose the lamp to areas with high concentrations of steam.

Design and use

NAVI is a wall lamp that works with geometry and material as its main resources. The round body measures 270 mm on each side and 60 mm in depth, giving it presence without protruding too much from the surface. The inner circle acts as a reflection chamber: the emitted LED light bounces between the two spheres and exits in a diffuse manner, creating warm and uniform ambient lighting. There is no light source visible to the naked eye, which makes the result particularly clean.

The material is plaster, which has direct implications for how the lamp relates to the space. Unlike modern lights made of plastic or metal, plaster allows integration with the architecture of the home in a way that other materials cannot achieve. It can be sanded, primed and painted with any wall paint. When the same color as the surface is chosen, the fixture disappears into the whole and only the luminous effect remains. It is a solution especially valued in projects where the goal is to minimize visible elements and maximize the sense of spaciousness.

The color temperature is 2700K, which corresponds to a warm light. This type of lighting favors relaxed environments, so NAVI works well in a bedroom, living room or dining room. In a bedroom, installed at the correct height, it creates an atmosphere similar to that of designer night lights, without the need to install complex systems. In the dining room, it complements a central lamp well or acts as accent lighting on a specific wall. It also fits in a hallway or a rest area where moderate and continuous lighting is preferred.

In spaces with a modern style and neutral surfaces, NAVI reinforces that visual coherence by disappearing into the wall. In interiors with warmer finishes, such as wood or stone, the white plaster works as a clean point that balances the whole. It is not a lamp designed to be the protagonist, but to provide background light and texture. That is its design logic and also its greatest advantage.

Wall installation allows the light to be directed laterally, which creates a soft gradation on the surface and adds depth to the space. This is especially useful in rooms where the ceiling is not very high, as the light does not fall directly from above but spreads from an intermediate point. For those renovating their home and looking for modern lights that do not take up visual space, NAVI is a coherent option.

The LED light source is already included, which simplifies installation and use from day one. With a power of 10 W, energy consumption is low. The resulting illumination is sufficient for its function as ambient or supporting light in spaces such as a kitchen or dining room.

Questions and answers

Is it possible to paint NAVI to match the color of my wall?

Yes. Being made of plaster, the lamp accepts conventional wall paint. You can prime it and apply the same shade as the wall so that it blends into the surface.

Is the 2700K color temperature suitable for a bedroom?

Light at 2700K is warm and soft, similar to that of a classic incandescent lamp. It is one of the most common options for bedrooms and rest areas, as it promotes a calm atmosphere without creating visual tension.

Is the LED included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The SMD LED is included with the lamp, so there is no need to purchase any additional light source. The luminaire is ready to install and connect directly.
