Installation and specifications

For installation, an existing ceiling light point with an electrical connection suitable for pendant luminaires is required. It is recommended to verify that the ceiling support can bear the weight of the assembly, especially in the 7-light version. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before connecting the lamp, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the range indicated in the specifications. The E27 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately.

To clean the ceramic shade, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that may damage the finish. The steel body in gloss black can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not handle the lamp with the power connected.

Design and use

The oval shade of VENICE 200 is made from ceramic and crafted by hand in Barcelona. This means each piece may present small variations inherent to the artisanal process, giving it a differential value compared to mass-produced lamps. The oval shape softens the overall look and works well in spaces where the rigidity of straighter or more industrial geometries is to be avoided.

The lamp body is made of steel with a gloss black finish. This material provides structural solidity while maintaining a clean visual profile. The combination of white ceramic with a black structure is one of the available options, although the model is also offered in pink, cobalt blue, and white, allowing the choice to be adjusted to the overall tone of the space.

Questions and answers

Does the 7-light multiple canopy version require a special anchor point in the ceiling?

The mounting is to the ceiling, as with any standard suspension luminaire. However, given that the 7-light assembly has greater distributed weight, it is advisable to ensure that the anchor is fixed to a load-bearing structure and not just to the surface finish. An electrician can assess this before installation.

Could the ceramic shade prove fragile in daily use?

Ceramic is a robust material for use in interior luminaires, as it is not subject to direct impacts under normal conditions. Being a handmade piece, it has the density characteristic of artisanal ceramics. When handling it during cleaning, it is recommended to do so carefully, as with any object made from this material.

Is the lamp compatible with any E27 bulb or only with LED?

The E27 socket is compatible with different types of bulbs, but the model specification indicates a maximum power of 15 W, making it suitable for LED bulbs with that socket. Using a higher-wattage bulb could exceed the limit indicated by the manufacturer.
