Installation and specifications

This version includes a 5-light multiple canopy, which means planning the distribution of the ceiling points before starting. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, it is recommended that the installation be carried out by a professional.

The ceramic shade does not require special products for cleaning. A dry or slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Avoid abrasive cleaners or those containing solvents, as they can affect the finish. Before cleaning, always make sure the lamp is switched off and cool.

Design and use

The oval shade of VENICE 200 is the element that defines this lamp. The ceramic has a texture and weight that clearly sets it apart from the more common materials used in pendant luminaires. It is not an industrial or strictly Nordic piece, although it can coexist well with both styles. It has something closer to the handcrafted, which is noticeable when seen up close.

The glossy blue finish adds presence without needing to take up much visual space. In a room with neutral tones, the lamp works as a natural focal point. In a dining room with warmer materials, such as wood or wicker, the contrast is balanced. It does not compete, it complements.

In the kitchen, a pendant lamp with an oval shade over the island or work table visually organises the space. In a hallway with existing ceiling points, the lamp can replace a flush mount without the need for any structural work.

Questions and answers

Is the ceramic shade of VENICE 200 the same in all units or can there be variations?

As it is handcrafted in a workshop in Barcelona, there may be small differences between units. These are not defects, but part of the artisanal process. The oval shape and glossy blue finish are maintained in all of them, but handmade ceramic is not identical from piece to piece.

Does the 5-light multiple canopy require five independent ceiling points or is it installed from a single one?

The multiple canopy allows the five pendant lamps to be distributed from a single ceiling installation. It is not necessary to have five separate light points, although it is advisable to plan the cable routing carefully before fixing the canopy.

Does it work with any E27 bulb or are there power restrictions?

The maximum admitted power is 15 W. It is compatible with any E27 LED socket bulb that does not exceed that limit. Using a bulb with higher power may affect performance and is not recommended.
