Overview

TATAWIN is a pendant lamp from the FARO brand designed for those looking for a light source with its own character. Its green metal shade and satin black structure give it a classic look that does not depend on trends. It adapts well to spaces where the goal is to concentrate light on a specific area: a dining table, a kitchen countertop, or a reading nook.

The design of this ceiling lamp starts from a simple idea: directing light downward without dispersing it. This makes it especially useful when you need to illuminate a specific area without affecting the rest of the room. The shade acts as a reflector and guide, generating that warm and defined halo that is so easy to integrate into interiors with personality.

FARO is a company with decades of experience in lighting. Its products combine quality materials with a practical approach, designed for everyday home use.

Installation and specifications

Installation of this ceiling lamp should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before starting any work, it is necessary to cut the power at the electrical panel. The lamp is fixed directly to the ceiling using the included bracket. It must be ensured that the recessed box or anchor hook can support the weight of the assembly. The suspension cable allows the height of the pendant lamp to be adjusted according to the needs of the space.

The metal shade can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish should not be used. It is important not to handle the bulb with bare hands when it is on. To replace the light source, wait until the lamp is cool and disconnected from the power supply.

Design and use

The TATAWIN lamp is built entirely in steel. The satin black hanging structure and the green shade form a combination that is recognizable without being flashy. The satin black avoids reflections and gives the assembly a more sober appearance than gloss black, making it easier to integrate into environments with different materials and finishes.

The oval green shade is the element that visually defines this ceiling lamp. Its conical shape directs light downward in a focal manner, creating a well-defined circle of illumination. This makes it a suitable option for hanging above a dining table, where you want the light to reach the work surface without spreading too far to the sides. It also works well in a kitchen, suspended above an island or countertop, where focal light improves visibility without the need for additional lights.

In a bedroom, a pendant lamp of this type can replace central lighting when a more intimate atmosphere is desired. Placed at the right height, it concentrates light on a specific area and leaves the rest of the room in semi-darkness, helping to create that sense of rest that is sometimes lost with general ceiling fixtures. In a living room, it can be used as a light source above a coffee table or a desk integrated into the space.

The 184 mm diameter makes it manageable in medium-sized spaces. It does not take up too much visual space, but it has enough presence to become a standout element within the décor. Its weight of 1.67 kg is moderate, which simplifies ceiling mounting without the need for special reinforcements.

The green of the shade is a color that works well with natural materials such as wood and wicker. If the space includes furniture with warm-toned finishes or rattan elements, the green shade acts as a counterpoint without being discordant. It also works in more industrial interiors, where the steel of the structure blends with other hard materials such as iron or concrete.

This ceiling lamp accepts E27 LED bulbs of up to 15W, allowing work with different color temperatures. A warm light bulb reinforces a cozy atmosphere; a neutral light one improves functionality in work areas. The pendant lamp does not include a light source, so the buyer can directly choose the bulb that best suits their needs and the atmosphere of each room.

The design of TATAWIN does not respond to any specific trend. There is something in the color combination and the oval silhouette of the shade that is reminiscent of lamps from decades past, but without feeling anachronistic. It can coexist with modern interior design or with a more classic style without generating visual tension. This ability to adapt without losing identity is one of its most practical qualities for those renovating a space without wanting to change everything at once.
