Installation and specifications

Installing this lamp requires an existing ceiling light point with a ceiling rose or junction box. It is fixed directly to the ceiling using the included anchoring elements. If you do not have experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to hire an electrician. The E27 LED bulb is not included and must be purchased separately.

The fabric shade can be cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth, without abrasive products. The steel body can be wiped with a soft cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture. Do not touch the bulb directly with your hands when it is hot. Always disconnect the power before performing any cleaning or adjustment.

Design and use

The FARO pendant lamp combines three materials that complement each other well: the steel of the body provides structure and durability, the fabric of the shade softens the light and gives it a warmer character, and the PVC support allows the assembly to maintain its shape over time. It is not an oval lamp in the strictly geometric sense, but its shadow projected on the ceiling creates an oval shape that adds visual interest to the space.

With a diameter of 500 mm, this lamp has enough presence to be the focal point of a room without being too large. In a medium-sized living room, hung above the coffee table or in front of the sofa, it visually organises the space. In a dining room, placed above the table, it concentrates the light exactly where it is needed. That position makes the lamp an active part of the scene, not just an accessory.

The LED light accepted by the E27 socket allows you to choose the colour temperature according to the atmosphere you are looking for. Warm light in the bedroom creates a calm atmosphere. Questions and answers

Does this pendant lamp accept any E27 bulb or are there power restrictions?

It accepts bulbs with an E27 base, but the maximum power is 15 W. It is important not to exceed that limit to avoid damaging the lamp or the fabric of the shade. Current LED bulbs with an E27 base are usually below that threshold and offer good luminosity.

Does the suspension cable allow the height of the lamp to be adjusted?

The total height indicated is 1190 mm from the fixing point on the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. If you need a different height, it is possible to gather the cable inside the ceiling cup during installation. For more precise adjustments, consult the included instructions or ask an electrician for assistance.

Can this lamp be installed in a bathroom or in a kitchen with steam?

The lamp is rated for use in dry interiors. In a kitchen away from the cooking area it works well. For a bathroom, it would only be suitable in areas where there is no direct contact with steam or splashing. In damp areas it is recommended to verify the IP protection rating required according to local regulations.
