Installation and specifications

Before installing the lamp, check that the chosen ceiling point can support the weight of the unit. The suspension cable has a generous length, so it is possible to adjust the height according to the space. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified electrician. The lamp is compatible with voltages from 100V to 240V, making it easy to use in different countries without additional adapters. Make sure the E27 socket is correctly installed before switching on the luminaire. No bulb is included, so it is advisable to have one on hand before assembly.

To clean the aluminum body, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. The polycarbonate diffuser can accumulate dust over time; clean it with a dry or barely damp cloth, without abrasive products. Before any cleaning, always disconnect the lamp from the power supply. Do not expose the opaline diffuser to direct impacts, as polycarbonate, although resistant, can be scratched by hard materials.

Design and use

The FARO pendant lamp is designed by Nahtrang with a clear logic: that the light and the object that holds it share equal prominence. The oval shape of the body is not merely a decorative detail, but defines how light is distributed in the space. Being oval, it covers a wider strip of surface than a sphere or conventional globe, which makes it especially useful above long tables or kitchen countertops.

The body is made of aluminum with a matte white finish. It is a material that adds no unnecessary weight to the unit and, at the same time, gives a sense of solidity when viewed from below. The matte white does not reflect ambient light, so attention falls on the lamp itself and what it illuminates, not on uncomfortable glare or reflections.

The opaline polycarbonate diffuser serves a specific function: to filter and soften the light emitted by the four LED bulbs. The result is warm, even illumination that avoids the effect of looking directly at the light source. This is especially pleasant in spaces where time is spent sitting, such as a dining room or living room. In a bedroom, that type of light creates an atmosphere that does not strain the eyes.

The lamp accommodates four E27 socket bulbs with a maximum of 15 W each. Being LED, consumption remains low even when all four lights are on at the same time. Bulbs are not included in the box, so it is advisable to choose them with a color temperature suited to the use of the space.

Thanks to the hook accessory, the position of the lamp on the ceiling can be changed without much difficulty. This makes it useful in projects where the layout of the space is not yet fully defined, or in premises that change their arrangement frequently. In a restaurant or a business with a customer service area, being able to move the light where it is needed makes a real practical difference.

The suspension cable reaches 4000 mm in length, which allows it to be installed in high-ceilinged spaces without the unit looking visually disproportionate. In spaces with standard ceilings, the cable can be gathered or adjusted to the desired height.

As for its place in the space, this lamp works on its own above a dining table or a kitchen island. It can also be installed in a wide hallway if the ceiling height allows. In a generously proportioned bedroom, a single centered unit provides enough light without being excessive. For a living room with separate sofa and dining areas, it can be combined with another more directed light source in each area.

The clean-lined design and neutral color palette mean it fits both interiors with a Nordic aesthetic and more modern or softened industrial environments. It does not compete with other decorative elements, but acts as a luminous backdrop against which the rest of the space is organized.

Questions and answers

Does the suspension cable allow the lamp to be installed in standard-height ceilings or only in high ceilings?

The total cable length is 4000 mm, but it can be adjusted to the height you need. In both high ceilings and spaces with standard height, it is possible to regulate the cable so that the lamp is at the correct distance from the floor.

Does the opaline polycarbonate diffuser completely cover the bulbs or are they exposed?

The opaline diffuser covers all four lights and acts as a screen between the bulbs and the observer's eye. From below, the light source is not directly visible, but rather a uniformly illuminated surface.

Can the lamp be used with just one bulb on, or do all four lights need to be on at the same time?

You can switch on all four lights or just some of them, depending on what you need. Each light point operates independently, provided the bulbs are correctly installed in their sockets.
