Design and use

The MAMBO collection was born from the work of FARO's in-house design team, Faro Lab. The goal was to create a pendant lamp that combined natural materials with metal structures without the result feeling forced. The oval rattan shade, 450 mm in diameter, fulfills that role well: it has visual presence without taking up too much visual space in the room.

Rattan is a material that has returned to contemporary interiors not as a passing trend, but because it brings texture and warmth in a way that glass or crystal cannot replicate. When the LED bulb is on, the rattan weave projects light patterns onto the walls and ceiling that change subtly depending on the angle. It is an effect that is not immediately noticeable, but which contributes to the atmosphere of the room.

The matte black steel body is the counterpoint to the natural shade. Matte black does not reflect light, which allows the pendant lamp to integrate into the space without competing with other decorative elements. This finish works especially well in kitchens with white or grey fronts, where the black provides a clean point of contrast. The total height of the pendant lamp is 1860 mm, which includes the cable and the body. With ceilings of 2.5 meters or more, installation is comfortable. In lower ceilings, the cable can be shortened during assembly to adjust the final height to the space.

What type of bulb is compatible with this pendant lamp?

It accepts an LED bulb with an E27 socket and a maximum power of 15 W. The bulb is not included, so you can choose the color temperature that best suits the room where it is installed.

Does the matte black steel body require any special treatment to maintain its finish?
