Overview

The FARO wall light is an outdoor lamp designed to illuminate gardens, terraces and facades in a discreet and efficient way. Its dark grey aluminium body and transparent glass diffuser allow it to blend well into contemporary environments without drawing too much attention. The light exits both from the bottom and the top, creating a decorative effect that goes beyond simple functional lighting.

This wall light emits a neutral 4000K light, without excessively warm or cold tones. It is a colour temperature that allows you to see the details of the space clearly without distorting natural colours. For those looking for a stable, long-lasting light source outdoors, this lamp offers a straightforward solution: it is fixed to the wall, requires no complex wiring and operates at voltages between 100V and 240V.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in lighting. Its outdoor products are designed to withstand continuous use and adapt to different domestic environments, from a private garden to a frequently used terrace.

Installation and specifications

For installation, this wall light requires a fixed electrical connection to the mains. It is recommended that the installation work be carried out by a qualified electrician, especially as this is an outdoor luminaire. Before starting, make sure to cut the power supply at the distribution board. The fitting is mounted directly onto the wall surface, and the wiring is concealed behind the body of the lamp. Check that the wall is solid and suitable for supporting the weight of the wall light.

To keep the wall light in good condition, clean the aluminium surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the finish. The glass diffuser can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not handle the lamp while it is switched on or connected to the power supply.

Design and use

The FARO wall light combines a compact construction with a design that does not visually interfere with its surroundings. Its reduced dimensions, 157 mm high and 92 mm long, allow it to be placed in spaces where a more bulky luminaire would be excessive. It weighs less than one kilogram, which makes installation easier on different types of surface.

The dark grey aluminium body holds up well in outdoor conditions. It is a material that does not rust easily and maintains its appearance with minimal maintenance. The dark grey finish makes it discreet during the day, and at night the beam of light projects a visual effect upwards and downwards that adds depth to the facade or wall where it is mounted.

The transparent glass diffuser allows light to pass through without filtering it, meaning the beam is clear and defined. There is no excessive diffusion or loss of intensity. This is useful when you want to illuminate a specific section of the garden or visually mark the entrance to a terrace. The 4000K temperature produces a neutral white light that does not alter the colour of plants, stone or surrounding building materials.

The integrated COB LED technology guarantees consistent performance over time. Unlike conventional bulbs, this type of light source does not require frequent replacements. The lamp comes with the light source included, so no additional components need to be purchased before installation.

In a garden, this wall light works well mounted next to an access door, along a path or on a wall that defines the space. On a terrace, it can be installed on columns or side walls to create perimeter lighting without the need to install ceiling luminaires. It is also suitable for residential facades where improved night-time visibility is desired without installing a large lantern.

The wall light adapts to contemporary-style environments, but its geometric shape and neutral finish also fit with spaces of more sober or industrial design. It combines well with materials such as exposed concrete, dark wood or steel. In gardens with dense vegetation, the upward beam of light can be used to highlight wall textures or vertical planting.

The universal voltage of 100V to 240V makes it compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and in most countries, with no need for adapters or transformers.
