Installation and specifications

If you have no experience with electrical installations, the safest option is to entrust the work to an electrician.

For maintenance, simply clean the aluminium surface with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that could damage the black finish. Check occasionally that the integrated drain is not blocked by dirt or debris, especially if the wall light is installed in areas with nearby vegetation.

Design and use

The KOV wall light has an aluminium body in black with a geometric straight-line design. Its square silhouette fits well with contemporary architecture, both on smooth facades and on stone or exposed brick walls. The understated black finish means it integrates without drawing too much attention, but when switched on it defines the space with clarity.

The COB LED light source is recessed inside the body, which prevents direct glare. This makes a difference when the lamp is at eye level, for example next to a front door or on a terrace where people pass close by. The 34-degree beam concentrates light precisely, useful for highlighting a path, illuminating a house number or marking the entrance to a garden.

One of the features that sets this wall light apart is the option to choose between unidirectional or bidirectional illumination. Installed in the standard position, it emits light in a single direction. By changing the orientation, it can project light upward and downward at the same time. This provides a degree of flexibility when adapting the lighting effect to the actual space where it will be placed.

The drainage system integrated into the body prevents water from accumulating inside. In areas with frequent rainfall, this constructive detail extends the service life of the wall light and maintains stable operation over time. It is not a cosmetic addition, but a technical solution that responds to the real conditions of the outdoors.

The lamp can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. This allows the direction of the light beam to be adjusted without the need for additional accessories. On a facade with little space between windows, for example, the horizontal position may be more practical. On a lateral garden wall, the vertical position may give a more visually balanced result.

With only 6W of power, consumption is low. The 2700K colour temperature produces a warm light, closer to a yellow tone than to cool white. This type of lighting is more pleasant at entrances and passageways than a cool or neutral light, which can feel harsh in domestic spaces.

The wall light does not include a motion sensor or presence detector. If a lamp with that built-in function is required, it would be necessary to complete the installation with a compatible external sensor. For use with manual switching or a timer, the wall light operates directly without the need for additional components.

The size is compact: 108 mm high, 80 mm long and 87 mm deep. It does not protrude excessively from the wall, making it suitable for spaces where the wall light should not take up too much visual prominence. It works well both in individual installations and as part of a row of several light points on a facade or terrace.

It is advisable to periodically check that the drainage opening is not blocked by dirt, leaves or other debris, especially if the wall light is near vegetation. Occasional cleaning is sufficient to keep it in good condition.
