It is driven directly into the ground and provides a clean, stable light point exactly where needed. The body is made of die-cast aluminium with a matte black finish, and the diffuser is made of clear glass. Installation and specifications

Before installing the stake, check that the ground is free of underground cables or pipes. As a ground luminaire, the lower part is inserted directly into the soil. Make sure the chosen area has access to an outdoor socket or circuit prepared for this purpose. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified professional. The GU10 LED bulb is not included, so have it ready before starting installation.

To keep the aluminium in good condition, clean the surface from time to time with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products that could damage the matte black finish. The glass diffuser may accumulate dirt or insect residue; periodic cleaning with water and neutral soap is sufficient. Do not use pressurised water directly on the luminaire.

Design and use

This outdoor stake has a straight, compact design that fits well in all types of environments. With a height of 325 mm and a base of 100 x 100 mm, it does not take up too much space and integrates easily among plants, along a path or at the edges of a patio or terrace.

The die-cast aluminium body gives it solidity without adding unnecessary weight. It is a material that tolerates temperature changes and continuous outdoor exposure well. The matte black finish does not draw excessive attention during the day, but when the spotlight is switched on, the contrast between the dark colour of the body and the light coming through the glass creates a very clean effect.

The transparent glass diffuser lets light through without filtering or diffusing it excessively. This is useful when you want to illuminate a specific area with some precision, such as the start of a path, the approaches to a door or the edges of a garden. Bollards of this type, placed in a row, mark a route clearly without visually overloading the space.

In a garden, this type of ground luminaire works well alongside low-growing vegetation or between shrubs. It does not generate too much upward light, so it does not cause disturbance if there are rest areas nearby. On a terrace or patio, several units distributed strategically can replace an area floodlight when what is sought is a calmer and more localised atmosphere.

It can also be combined with other types of outdoor lights. For example, it is common to use these ground bollards together with wall lanterns or a hanging lantern at the entrance, creating different levels of lighting in the same space. The matte black finish harmonises with iron, dark steel or treated wood finishes, which are common materials in fences, pergolas or garden furniture.

The bulb is of the GU10 LED type, which allows the colour temperature to be chosen according to what is desired. A warmer light creates a more welcoming atmosphere on terraces and living areas. A cooler light may be more suitable for illuminating entrances or paths where visibility matters more than ambience.

The total weight is 0.68 kg, so it requires no effort to move or reposition if at any point you want to change the arrangement of the lights in the garden. This flexibility is an advantage over larger luminaires or those requiring fixed anchoring to the ground.

Questions and answers

Does this stake need a special bulb or will any standard GU10 LED on the market work?

The luminaire is compatible with standard GU10 LED bulbs, which are easily found in any lighting store. The maximum accepted power is 8 W. It is not included in the box, so it is advisable to have it ready before installing the stake.

Does the transparent glass diffuser withstand impacts or temperature variations outdoors well?

The glass handles continuous outdoor use without issues, including seasonal temperature changes. It is not a fragile material under normal conditions of use, but direct impacts should be avoided, especially in areas with frequent foot traffic.

Can this luminaire be installed in hard ground such as compacted gravel or very dry soil?

The stake is designed to be driven into soft or semi-hard ground. On very compacted surfaces it may be necessary to loosen the area slightly before inserting it. It is not designed to be fixed on concrete or solid paving without additional adaptations.
