Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. The lamp is fixed directly onto a wall or vertical surface using the wall-mount system. Before installing the lantern, check that the anchoring surface is solid and can support the weight of the assembly. The wiring must be protected and installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Make sure to cut the power supply before starting any connection. The compatible voltage is 100V to 240V, allowing use in different installations without additional adapters.

Use and maintenance. Clean the aluminium body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents that could damage the dark grey finish. The diffuser glass may accumulate dust or insect residue; remove it with a soft cloth to maintain good light transmission. Do not handle the LED source when the unit is connected to the mains.

Design and use

The AGRA 200 beacon is a small-format lantern designed for outdoor use. Its height of 200 mm and dimensions of 108 x 108 mm make it a discreet piece that does not interrupt the visual line of the space, yet makes its presence felt when lit. The post emits light on all four faces thanks to the glass diffuser, generating a balanced visual distribution around the installation point.

The body is made of aluminium, a material that combines lightness and durability. The dark grey finish gives it a contemporary character, without being flashy. It integrates well with stone, concrete, dark wood, or outdoor ceramic surfaces. In a garden with dense vegetation, the grey tone of the lantern does not visually compete with the natural elements: it complements them.

The light source is an integrated COB LED, with a power of 9W and a colour temperature of 3000K. That warm temperature does not produce a cold or clinical light: the soft amber tone it casts on the ground and nearby surfaces is pleasant to the eye and compatible with night-time use in rest or passageway areas.

On the terrace, the lantern can be placed on the low walls that define the perimeter, marking the edge without the need to install large luminaires. In the patio, it works well as a marker for corners or secondary accesses. Along a garden path, several units of the same model create an ordered visual sequence that guides the route without overwhelming the space.

The AGRA 200 beacon can also be combined with other elements from the AGRA collection or with outdoor lights of a similar style. It is not a ground-level beacon or a hanging lamp: its wall-mount fixing system places it on a vertical plane, which sets it apart from pedestal or freestanding post beacons. This makes it especially useful on retaining walls, outdoor steps, or garden facades where vertical surface is available but there is no room for columns or posts in the ground.

The net weight of 1.43 kg indicates that the piece has real solidity without being heavy for the support. The packaging includes the lamp with the LED source already installed, so no additional component needs to be purchased to put it into operation.

Questions and answers

Is the AGRA 200 lamp installed on the ground or on a wall?

It is installed on a vertical surface using a wall-mount fixing. It is not designed to be placed on the ground or as a freestanding beacon on a post.

Is the 9W LED source included or does it need to be purchased separately?

The COB LED source is included as standard. It is not necessary to purchase or install any additional bulb before putting the lamp into operation.

Does the 3000K colour temperature produce a very yellow or intense light?

3000K corresponds to a warm white, similar to traditional incandescent light. It is not excessively yellow nor glaring; it is suitable for passageway areas and decorative use in outdoor night-time settings.
