Overview

The RUSH floor lamp by FARO is an outdoor luminaire designed for installation in gardens, parks and open spaces. With a height of 3.1 metres, it covers a wide illumination area and is suitable for both residential environments and common-use areas. Its 360º light distribution ensures symmetrical coverage around the pole, with no shadow zones.

The body is made of aluminium combined with polycarbonate, giving it resistance to impacts — certified at IK10 level — and to water and solid particles, thanks to its IP65 protection rating. This means it works reliably in the rain, in humid environments or in areas with high levels of dust in the air.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in lighting. Its products combine functional design with durable materials, conceived for different types of projects: from a private residence to larger-scale outdoor spaces.

Installation and specifications

Preparation and installation. As this is a ground-mounted floor lamp, it is necessary to prepare a suitable base or foundation before assembly. It is recommended to engage an electrician to carry out the connection to the electrical mains, as it operates at 220V–240V. Verify that the underground wiring is properly protected before fixing the pole permanently. The CASAMBI version allows integration with wireless control systems, making it easy to manage the lighting from a mobile device.

Use and maintenance. To clean the floor lamp, a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Do not use abrasive products or solvents that could damage the aluminium finish or the polycarbonate diffuser. Periodically check the ground anchor points to ensure they remain secure. Do not handle the electrical connection without first disconnecting the installation from the mains.

Design and use

The RUSH floor lamp is part of a technical outdoor lighting collection. The design is based on a clear premise: to provide efficient and durable lighting in open spaces, without sacrificing a neat and clean visual presence. The dark grey finish integrates well with natural surroundings, stone paving, vegetation or modern architectural structures.

The lamp incorporates COB LED technology with a colour temperature of 4000K. This neutral white light range is suitable for outdoor use because it does not distort the colours of the surroundings and provides clear visibility without being overly cold. The level of light it generates is sufficient to illuminate paths, entrances or transit areas in a garden or park.

The 360º distribution option makes this floor lamp a particularly useful solution when uniform illumination of the perimeter around the pole is desired. There is no need to orient it in a specific direction: the light is distributed symmetrically in all directions, which simplifies both the lighting planning and the final result.

The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows light to pass through without losing intensity and without creating unwanted colour effects. At the same time, this material provides mechanical resistance. Together with the aluminium body, it forms a structure that withstands impacts without deforming, which is especially relevant in public spaces or areas with frequent foot traffic.

The IP65 protection ensures that neither water nor dust affects the internal functioning of the luminaire. This makes it suitable for climates with frequent rainfall or for installations in coastal areas where humidity is constant. It requires no additional protection or special treatments to operate under normal outdoor conditions.

The CASAMBI version adds a layer of practical functionality: it allows the lamp to be switched on, off and dimmed wirelessly. This is convenient in installations with multiple floor lamps, where individual management of each lighting point would be cumbersome. From a single application it is possible to organise zones, schedule timetables or adjust the intensity according to the needs of the moment.

In terms of integration, this floor lamp works well both in private gardens and in communal areas. In a courtyard or landscaped walkway, its height of 3.1 metres places it above the usual visual level, avoiding direct glare. In a park or pedestrian path, it can be combined with other elements of street furniture without looking out of place. Its silhouette is understated: it does not attempt to draw attention to itself, but rather to complement the space in which it is installed.

Questions and answers

Does the floor lamp include the light source or does it need to be purchased separately?

The COB LED light source is included. No additional components need to be purchased for the floor lamp to function.

What does IK10 protection mean?

IK10 is the highest level of mechanical protection against impacts. It indicates that the floor lamp withstands impacts of up to 20 joules without suffering structural damage, making it suitable for frequently used spaces.

What is the CASAMBI version and what is it for?

CASAMBI is a wireless control system that allows the luminaire to be managed from a mobile application. It enables the lighting to be switched on, off and dimmed without the need for additional physical switches.
