Overview

PLAZA is an outdoor lamp post designed for gardens, terraces, and patios where stable and long-lasting lighting is needed. With a height of 219 cm, it covers a generous area of light without the need to install multiple lighting points. It is an option designed for those who want to visually organize and define an outdoor space without sacrificing a clean and contemporary design.

The integrated LED technology keeps energy consumption low and means the lamp does not require frequent bulb changes. The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows light to pass through directly, with a color temperature of 3000K that offers a warm, pleasant tone without visual harshness. The aluminum body in a dark grey finish gives it solidity and a look that integrates well in both modern environments and gardens with dense vegetation.

FARO is a Spanish brand with decades of experience in indoor and outdoor luminaires. Its products are present in residential and commercial projects throughout Europe, and the solar line of lamp posts and outdoor wall lights reflects that focus on durability and functional design.

Installation and specifications

For installation, it is necessary to prepare a firm base in the ground where the post can be anchored. It is recommended to make the electrical connection before permanently securing the structure. It is preferable to have an electrician if you have no prior experience with outdoor installations. The lamp post operates within a voltage range of 100V to 240V, making it compatible with the standard electrical grid in Spain and most European countries.

For maintenance, simply clean the aluminum body with a damp cloth when dust or dirt accumulates. The polycarbonate diffuser can be cleaned with water and mild soap, avoiding abrasive products that could scratch the surface. Dismantling the lamp post for cleaning is not recommended; most maintenance can be done from the outside without tools.

Design and use

The PLAZA lamp post has a clear presence in any outdoor space. Its height of almost 220 cm makes it an element that can be seen from a distance and helps to visually guide access points, pathways, or rest areas in a garden. It is not a discreet lamp that goes unnoticed, but rather a reference point within the outdoor space.

The body is made of aluminum, a material that combines lightness and durability. The dark grey finish gives it a serious and contemporary profile that does not clash with natural surroundings. It works equally well next to a wooden terrace, in a garden with grass, or among tall shrubs. Being an outdoor fixture, the material is designed to withstand the usual conditions of lighting in open spaces.

The transparent polycarbonate diffuser allows the light source to be seen directly, which reinforces the sense of brightness in the surroundings. The integrated SMD LED technology operates at 24W, sufficient to illuminate the area around the post clearly. The 3000K temperature produces a warm light that does not feel cold or artificial, something that is especially appreciated during the evening hours or at nightfall in the garden.

This lamp post is installed fixed to the ground, making it stable and suitable for permanent use. It is not a rechargeable or portable lamp, but a fixed outdoor lighting solution connected to the electrical grid. This distinguishes it from solar or rechargeable options that depend on battery charge and may fail during periods of limited natural light.

The PLAZA line from FARO is designed for those looking for an outdoor lamp post that does not require constant maintenance or frequent replacements. By including the LED light source as standard, there is no need to search for compatible bulbs or make additional adjustments after purchase. Install it and it works.

In terms of integration with the surroundings, this lamp post fits well in modern or minimalist-style gardens, but can also serve as a light point at entrances or pathways where a lamp post with a certain height and presence is desired. It does not have an elaborate or ornamental design, which makes it versatile across different outdoor decoration styles.

If the garden already has other luminaires from the same range or elements in grey aluminum, the PLAZA lamp post reinforces that visual coherence. It can also be combined with wall lights or ground bollards to create a balanced lighting layout throughout the entire exterior of the home.
