Overview

A 5 W GU10 bulb for places where a spotlight is needed but full output would be too much. It gives 440 lm of warm white light at 2700K with a 60° beam.

The white body suits white downlights and wall spots. Lower wattage also means less heat in small enclosed fittings.

Installation and specifications

The bulb locks into a GU10 holder with a push and a turn and runs straight from the mains. At 50 mm deep and 50 mm across it fits standard GU10 fittings, including shallow ones.

Questions and answers

Is 440 lm enough for a room?

For one bulb, it is enough for a small area or a bedside spot. Rooms are normally lit by several downlights, and the output adds up.

Is it dimmable?

Faro does not list this bulb as dimmable.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

The bulb itself has no moisture rating. In a bathroom it must go in a fitting with the right IP rating for its zone.
