Overview

An ST64 bulb, the tall teardrop shape of early electric lamps, with LED filaments in amber glass. It gives 400 lm of extra warm light at 2200K from 4 W.

The elongated glass makes it the usual choice for vintage and industrial fittings.

Installation and specifications

It screws into an E27 lampholder. The bulb is 146 mm tall and 64 mm across at its widest, taller than a standard bulb, so check the depth of the shade. Fit it with the power off.

Questions and answers

Why choose ST64 over a round bulb?

It is a matter of looks: the long shape fills a cage or a tall shade better and shows more of the filament.

Is it dimmable?

Faro does not list this bulb as dimmable.

How long does it last?

Faro rates it at 15,000 hours.
